If he hasn't, he should get evaluated to see if the meds are appropriate. They work much better in the early stages. It is a hard conversation to have with a family member, but it may help with the condition.
You're good. There are many threads on here that have had this problem. Some refuse to believe that 1/16 " would make a difference. There are manufacturers that don't think it matters. This has only gotten worse since more companies make cheaper guns. The budget is frequently cut in R&D.

I saw mostly rimfire ammo in the pictures that I saw. It was not a stash commensurate with his firearms.
