  1. Not as nasty as collecting ear wax! Mythbusters collected enough ear wax to make a candle and tried to see if it would actually burn! THAT was NASTY!
  2. Check this out, Tacticat armor! https://www.etsy.com/listing/175112598/cat-battle-armor
  3. That's one helluva kaboom!
  4. Wichita, one of my old stompin' grounds! <thumbsup>
  5. No Fail, my wife worked for a surgeon for several years and we were good friends. I asked him once about getting my hemorrhoids taken care of and he said "I can do that, but you'll hate me for about 6 weeks!" Since mine aren't that bad I decided to pass on the surgery! :ugone2far: <lmao>
  6. Outstanding! <thumbsup>
  7. I'm just going to roll my own. I just finished tumbling all the .223 brass I have acquired over the last few months and it filled a Rubbermaid tub 2/3rds full! My machinist buddy in El Paso has everything set up to make 300 BLK brass in a production line kind of way and told me to just bring over whatever I wanted to do on a Saturday afternoon and he would help me knock it out! He'll send me home with it all sized, trimmed and ready to load. On another note, he got ahold of a bunch of .223 blanks and made 300 BLK brass out of it! He dumped the powder and formed the brass without removing the primers and is using it for subsonic loads. He said that the primers are kind of soft, like pistol primers but they work good. The blank brass has a cannelure around the case near the base, which is another reason he only uses the brass for subsonic loads, but he can tell at a glance whether the round is a subsonic or supersonic load.
  8. Same here, both the wife and I .
  9. Good way to catch them flinching too! <laughs>
  10. The distance I'm using is about 75 yards and it gets me easily on the paper at the range.
  11. I do something similar to what Blue does. Clamp the upper in my bench vise in the garage and aim it at the newspaper office across the street and zero the scope on what I see through the bore. It gets me pretty close. I'm far enough back in the garage that I don't think anyone over at the newspaper would even notice......................I think. Even if they did, I know all the cops around here! <lmao>
  12. I've got one from ICE Arms. Works fine and as the other guys said, it's easy to cleam n.
  13. Used a bib portion for bills and the rest is in the bank for Josh's wedding. I did manage to get the wife to let me get a 10&1/2" 300 BLK barrel though!
  14. LOL! It already has 'Okinawa Japan' stitched on the back! You guys are persuasive, I guess I'll start wearing it some. An older gentleman at church this morning walked in about two minutes after we did and told me "Semper Fi!" After the service I asked him if he had seen the USMC sticker on the back window of my truck, which says "Proud Marine Parent" and explained that I was not a Marine, but have a son in Okinawa and what the sticker actually says when you get close enough to read it. He told me "I'm very familiar with Okinawa! Tell your son I said Semper Fi, and Semper Fi to you too!" I thanked him for his service and told him he was invited to Josh's wedding in August. <thumbsup>
  15. I've got an M4, well kind of! As long as my son is in Okinawa it's in my safe so that makes it mine! <lmao> He bought that gun a about a year before he enlisted. I told him to make sure he got the toys he wanted before getting married and he took it to heart. His older brother (who has 4 kids) asked him why he would spend that much money on a shotgun and Josh told him "Because I can!" <laughs>
  16. I'm not a very big rice fan but Cuban black beans and rice is a whole different story! <thumbsup>
  17. I have absolutely no use for people that pull that crap! Hell, my son sent me a USMC baseball cap from Okinawa (nice one too!) and I won't wear it because I've never been a Marine.
  18. Good deal Sisco, glad you could take advantage of it! <thumbsup>
  19. Copes has Anderson AR-15 blem lower receivers for $41.99 right now. I don't know how long these will last! I got one the last time they had them and I can't really find anything wrong with it, it looks great! http://www.copesdistributing.com/anderson-blem-stripped-lower-receivers-closed-trigger-guard-p-7707.html The above link is for the closed trigger guard receiver. They also have the open trigger guard version here; http://www.copesdistributing.com/anderson-blem-stripped-lower-receivers-open-trigger-guard-p-7708.html Here's an upper for $41.99 to go with the lower; http://www.copesdistributing.com/anderson-blem-stripped-upper-receiver-p-7706.html
  20. That was cool as hell! <thumbsup> Back in the day we used to drift our musclecars on the gravel roads in Kansas but we called it dirt trackin' back then. If we would have known what those cars would be worth now we probably would have taken better care of them. I put a 57 Chevy Bel Air through a farmer's fence learning how to dirt track! <lmao>
  21. Turns out he was wrong about the base post office being closed until after New Years. They got their packages a little after Christmas and your right Tom, they ate the bread anyway! <lmao>
  22. Hey brother Ron, I'm a size 12 too. All the better to put a boot in someones ass when needed! <thumbsup>
  23. The Thunderstruck video was great! <thumbsup> I've got a video somewhere of some clips of Josh's senior year wrestling with Thunderstruck! It was pretty cool.
  24. The guy that built that used to be a member on here but he left. If I remember correctly he didn't think he was a good fit for this bunch!
  25. Shibi, they are kind of slow on their shipping these days but you will get it. I got a complete LPK (with MOE grip and buttstock and buffer tube assy.) for $99 a while back and it took a month for them to ship it! I think they sometimes oversell their sales stuff and have to wait until more comes in to fill the orders.
