Throw some mineral spirits in there an reconstitute it. I use a solid tablespoon full of Nu Finish car polish and throw a few paper towel strips soaked in mineral spirits right in the walnut shell mix, grabs that evil fine dust that can have lead in it. If I were going to reload the shells right away I would skip the polish, my cases always go into storage.......for another 7 anyway.

Never had one that I know of, I have seen them in the family though. All of the companies mentioned above can put out some good quality stuff. You gotta expect to pay a little more when you want something most of the crowd doesn't. Isn't enough money in it for Criterion to stock the 7mm-08 in the same quality standard as the rest of their stuff, too bad. Looking at those 7mm-08 barrels @98Z5V linked has me thinking of a build, those Wilson Combat barrels are cut from some quality stock, sweet looking barrels and shoot real tight for the money.

Brought to me by a Viking Brother in Wisconsin, EXPOCHGO IPA from Pipeworks Brewing Co. of Chicago, ILL. Has a big citrus and tropical fruit aroma with some faint bready notes. Hop BOMB! Lots of hop flavors, citrus, pith, pineapple, even some mango, a steady moving flavor profile. Amongst all those hops there is a sweet malty backbone from front to back. Great balance, great drinkability, great beer!

That's what I use. Can't say I have any hard data to point at when it comes to any improvement but it hasn't caused a problem and gives me one less excuse for poor accuracy.

I have several adjustable blocks that are buried, just careful to use one that can be worked from the front with an extended tool. I have one I can worm my way in on the side but that is not as handy as a long tool from the front. I worry about it less and less, find that after the initial adjustment I rarely have the need to re-adjust.

Bushnell Tac Optics Lil’ P(rism) Baby Scope

Got a second one for a 308 pistol. Had a glitch to start, one of the tabs around the 2032 battery had folded down and prevented the illumination from coming on. Bent it up and away we go. We shall see if they can handle the recoil. Price wise keep looking till they offer it just under $200, Dvor and Optics Planet keep sending me special offers that get one to my door for a few bucks over $200. -
Fulton has been in the game a long time, you know you will get top quality for your money and the customer service is outstanding.

Don't know why I bought this, it says ESEE and was twenty bucks, didn't ask myself for a second if I had a use for it. For the size it fits the hand amazingly well and in a few different grip methods. I can see it being a handy little tool at a well stocked camp. Mine will go in an Altoids tin with a ferro rod and tinder, taped shut, banded, and promptly lost somewhere under a car seat.

1. Yes, no, maybe, never, and always........ I use a few adjustable blocks for suppressor use and on a lightweight/low mass build. I built a 16 inch rifle gas 308, works, shoots soft, can be picky on ammo and cleaning with suppressor use. 2. I won't build another 16 inch rifle gas gun. The port had to be opened way up to get the lower pressure loads to function. The actual difference in recoil is minimal, I notice it shoots with a softer but longer/slower recoil impulse. If you enjoy building things just a little different and don't mind the time spent on it then an adjustable block is a handy tool. If you want rock solid reliability then go with a more traditional system. 3. I have always liked SLR blocks but they are pricey. The $20 or so Cotton Arms adjustable block has been fine, it is in a set and forget situation, I was not able to get the by-pass side of the Superlative adjustable block to vent enough on even my 16 inch rifle build, 308 just has more gas than that part of their system handles. If you are not wanting to build some more exotic parts or not using a suppressor then stick with the standardized stuff.

Much the same scenario is how I ended up with one of these barrels. Shoots lights out, frick'n heavy!

I have a Sig P716 with a 12.5 inch barrel, piston gun and a very comparable DI gun with the same barrel. The piston gun needs constant cleaning, starts with jams at 70-100 rounds. The gas build doesn't have 400 rounds yet but other than a few missed beats real early on it has been flawless with nothing more than a wipe with a paper towel and a couple drops of lube. Same barrel but the DI gun is over a pound lighter and much better balanced.

The last AP build I did has issues dropping the Lancer mags free on the last shot, still need to get more rounds on the combo before I can say much though. I had issues with Lancer's in a Matrix build but it was two specific mags that had different dimensions than the others, Lancer replaced those without a question. Hit them up and see what they say, bet they will want to know.

There is no magical compromise but the answer is simple, build two, or three. Seriously though if you try to compromise between a bench/comp gun and a light feeling hunting rifle you won't be happy with it's performance on either.

I got some bad ammo there once, IMI stuff that blew primers. CS there gave me "to bad but no refund on ammo". Pissed me off so I sent Larry an email directly, yeah I know he has to have someone looking at all those emails but whomever eventually read that email had my full purchase price credited to an account there. I had already received replacement ammo from IMI and they sent me a nice plate from Israel for Christmas hat year. It took better than a month but Midway held up their end, just has to get in front of the right person.
