  1. I just bought the Shockwave, new to me but it's been out for a couple of years. Bought another Mossberg with it. A 590 Retrograde, I just love the wood and steel combo. Finally took one down to the receiver to give it a first cleaning. I should not have done it a 3 in the morning though. After failing to see how it went back together I gave up after an hour. In the morning, or later in the morning I reassembled it in 5 minutes. BTW the retro will arrive thurs. pics to follow. I see right away you must buy the adapt for shooting the 1 1/2 shells. They just line up and eject much better, or if you're willing to put up with a jam -o -matic go for it.
  2. Whoa that's awesome ^^^ Another random, never to be considered worthy of mentioning, thought. I have the same money in my wallet for three weeks now. $90.00 would have went in a couple of days before on just about nothing. Today it's the same $90.00 and I don't remember the last time I could say that. I'm not even playing the lottery, or buying a cup of coffee or a hamburger. Dang!
  3. "Chomp , chomp went the beaver, doing what beaver's do best." What they do best is change the whole friggin lake into something that works well for them and screw you. Red headed beavers are the worst, just ask around this board. Poor turtles, no wonder they develop such a hard shell.
  4. Nice!! You must have some parts box, something like that POD box on the other thread? It's probably a shipping container!
  5. BTW I went to the UPS store to do a QR return to Amazon. Only they have the ability to scan that coupon. I went to my local Mail Drop place where they overcharge me on a regular basis. $25 for the same package. Go figure. I guess I'm going to have to set up a mail drop in my home. Stamps r Us or whatever.
  6. Random, OK. I went to a UPS store the other day. I wanted to return some holsters and magazine holders I didn't like. The young man behind the counter asks what is in the box. I'm a bit surprised by the question so I give him the usual answers that I provide the USPS with. Nothing flammable, no batteries, and no liquids. What's in the box? Some plastic items. What exactly is in the box? Tupperware. " You're sending Tupperware to a holster company." Yes. He actually asks with a sneer. I said I think this is an invasion of privacy. He explains that if I use UPS they have a right to know what's in the box. I tell him nothing dangerous is in that box. BTW, this package is going to We The People Holster Co. Should I tell him the contents? I don't think so. What if I'm sending private material that I am making a profit on. Should I have to explain my whole business plan? It just felt all wrong and I wondered why he asked my phone number as well. WTF. I'm still willing to ship through this place until he tells me $52.00 for a small box weighing about 3lbs. At that point I know I'm being messed with so I take the package and leave. I have never been asked that many questions regarding a package ever.
  7. I married a professional bookkeeper, I understand. That's the real reason they call em' battle rifles. Once the Mrs. discovers the true cost it's battle time.
  8. Wilson is not a bad place to spend money if you're looking for top notch quality. I just bought an extractor for a 70 series 1911for example, the steel exudes confidence with the way it's made. You know these things break at absolutely the wrong time. I understand sometimes it is the money and cost for the moment. I reread your post @billymagg, let us help you with your struggle, go for it, now!
  9. Been waiting to see the Siete (s).
  10. Red, 3.25 as shipped from Laue. Just cracked it open for the first time. Of course it's going to be 4, because you can't get to 5 before you get to 4. Looking to get to the range shortly. I pulled the trigger 8 months ago, almost forgot about it.
  11. So do I @shepp, but I think a 21 year old snapper might kill me at this point.
  12. Waiting on some more ammo. I have ordered some 12 gauge components and powder. I see 00 buck is so very popular that I need to make some of my own.
  13. Call your bank now, at worst you have notified them you've been taken advantage of. When you call after receipt they'll already be aware and more amiable to help you. Build a case now.
  14. I'm half way through the Longmire pilot, 1:1. I see a few seasons listed and decided to get Netflix on a one month free offer. This first episode is some tough watching for me. I remember sorta, kinda watching it when it first appeared. I had a tough go and let it go by the waste side. I'm trying again. Maybe ought to jump into a later season and watch a show from season four or five. Losing interest on a few shows in the past, dropping them, and then finding out they made it for several more seasons is not new to me. I think the Penny Lane seasons are a good example. Anyway Longmire for the long haul, not doing much of anything else right now. Well, I am watching the Live soap opera called Wuhan Stew. It's an interactive game show that started as a horrible sickness caused by psycho scientists infecting the innocents with a deadly virus. The show has gone viral. The funny thing is no one wants to take credit for it's inception. The producers stay hidden and it's our job to suffer the effects on both our daily lives and economic fallout while we figure out how to shut down the show. Since Richard Dawson cannot possibly be blamed, although a likely candidate after viewing Running Man, we must look elsewhere, for both the creator and solution. The parrot heads disguised as well educated News commentators stoke up common fears of plain hard working citizens, while doubling their master's commercial interests. We find our selves drawn into the deadly game by being couch mushrooms, and only entering our former world at night while walking our dogs and hoping to meet new black market dealers of toilet tissue. Fascinating stuff if only the dangers were make believe. It's only during the second or third week of the show do we find out the supposed saviors may in fact be the creators of an, as yet, uncontrollable disease. I remember a former ad campaign that stated "...you can't make this stuff up.", and yet they did. It's soon discovered that the true saviors, the folks that want to seriously stop this show are lambasted, creating yet another point of contention rather than a vein of protection. Folks such as POTUS, whose job directly links him to directly controlling the fear and finding a path to restoration is blamed for managing poorly a Nation in crises, as if there were a game plan book to follow that he ignores. The evil wiles of greed gone wild, and riding the charging steed of avarice, while the truth be damned, we find our selves at the mercy to forces of evil and darkness once again. Not since the medieval days of yore, and the spread of " The Black Death " have we seen a modern society delve into the barbaric trickery of the knowledgeable, playing our emotions negatively, rather than offering a soothing balm. I think I'll drop Wuhan Stew as well, it is too intense. by the money managers for an ever increasing fever pitch pace
  15. hmm... just watching.
  16. I left this out by mistake JT, thanks.
  17. Great article. Willingness to do the unexpected, is easy once you realize the threat. I don't drink but saving alcohol is a great idea. I've experienced three riots and a couple of huge human stampedes. If you can hold onto your wits you'll see there's only a few nut jobs in the crowd. They need to be neutralized. Most folks are sheep and will follow the Alpha, become the alpha, then when quiet appears become a wolf in sheep's clothing. Do not stand out in the crowd, you'll become the target. The guy from the article says, " don't be fancy..." good idea. I've been avoiding crowds for thirty years. When my family does the Breast Cancer Awareness walk I'm like a sheepdog. I stand off to the sides, do my best to look like some goof off, but have laser vision capabilities watching my loved ones. Avoid crowds when they reappear soon. I think many folks are going to act like a War has just ended when they get the release signals from the Gumment. We may never see the world as we knew it at one time, well, if you are paying attention anyhow.
  18. Glenn is a top notch person to deal with. I hope they get their stuff together soon. They are supposed to start producing in-house.
  19. Trigger fish mmm good.
  20. I've been wishing for Part II for some time. Don't know if they have any plans in doing so, but I wish they would. Sorta like what Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns did to cowboy movies. Totally was as good as Star Wars, except for bad cameras, music, writing, scenery, costumes. Four star review for the proper use of duct tape, meat cleavers and sanitized surfaces.
  21. I bought a couple of times and am terrifically pleased with the deals. Hi praise for dpete. I've noticed during times of hiring extra help all of the shipping services hire folks who must, or feel compelled to kick light boxes for an extra 3 points. I can't count how many boxes come ruined from obvious abuse. Children must be children.
  22. Welcome aboard from Fla.
  23. Welcome aboard. Standing by.
  24. Thanks for the posting JT. Their ghosts are riding now "Something is coming, beware!" I pray this virus? is merely a medical thing. JT I thought it proper to offer you props for your many illuminating posts, thanks. I do followups on some things you write, good job Brother.
