  1. At least it finally shipped.
  2. Just ordered a19/23 size frame. I have a Glock 23 upper round here somewhere.
  3. I finally found time to run a few mags through the Grendel pistol. Folding gizmo works just fine. Ran 100 rnds through it. New bolt is good too. Still waiting on extractors from Alexander Arms.

    Hello

The M118 fit in my pmags but I'm running 308ar platforms.
  6. They are saying you can make a functional firearm in a few minutes. Probably never tried to build one.
  7. I would chamber a round and see if it pulled the bullet again. If so a set of headspace gauge's are in your future.
  8. Welcome from KY.
  9. Pure badass.
  10. Cool as hell but toooooo much money for me.
  11. I work nights and have to be @ work at 1800 hrs tomorrow or I would join y'all for lunch. I appreciate the invite and would have liked to meet up.
  12. The black locust burn real hot. I've had several folks tell us not to burn the locust in a wood stove. YMMV
  13. Yep got that one from Primary Arms for $119.00
  14. Welcome from KY.
  15. Top one is tool craft Grey one is Brownells retro
  16. I just put a Sylvan Arms folding gizmo on one of the pistols. I haven't tested it on the range yet. It does lock up solid. Was easy to install.
  17. Is it enough out of alignment to prevent the BCG from going into the buffer tube without extra friction slowing the BCG down? That is the next problem to solve in the experiment.
  18. If you buy a PSA lower it will mate to the upper. The PSA upper will not fit up to an aero lower. Are you using a carbine stock or an A2 rifle stock. That answer determines which buffer and spring to use. You still will probably have a to short gas tube and a rifle that is only so so accurate. I'm not knocking PSA just stating facts. I have 2 of them and they work and shoot now. I would return the PSA upper and build an upper with Aero parts. Cheaper in the long run.
  19. The firing pin hits on the edge of the shell in rimfire. The firing pin is also hitting the edge of the chamber. That's what breaks firing pins on rimfire guns. It can also mess up the edge of the chamber where the rounds will get hung up and not chamber all the way.
