    98's 6mm ARC

My 18" Grendel SPR is 8.4 mils of drop at 850 yards. No guns in the truck - I never leave firearms in a vehicle. It ended up on an indian res.

Shot850 yards last Sunday, 16 Aug. 7.1 mils of drop at 850 yards. Unreal. More details coming. I've been sidetracked by my truck being stolen sometime between the evening of 17 Aug and morning of 18 Aug. Recovered today, by the Local PD knock on my door. Been dealing with some shiit. I have 99 problems, but 6 ARC ain't one of them. It's fucking STELLAR. Thus far, it's smoking 6.5 Grendel, by leaps and bounds - which smoked my .308s, and everything else. It's all that, that they said it was, and it's much, much more... The 6ARC is the real deal, and I don't toss that about lightly...

That is a real PRI Gen II rail - and it needs a different top rail, in order to make a Mk12. Pri still has the Gen II top rails, though. Same price as the Gen III stuff. The PRI Gen III stuff is an improvement over the Gen II parts, FWIW. Technology and advancements, and all. If that rail can save money, it's worth it, if you're going all the way, in the long run. Otherwise, the Gen III stuff is (hardware) mo' bettah. Just my $0.02 on it all.
  4. You're an awesome guy, Clint - many commendations coming your way. Keep up with the VLTOR A5 buffers - I turned to you a couple months ago, because VLTOR - and all other vendors - don't have them. I'll convert two other guns to your VLTOR A5 H3 buffers shortly - the one I got from you is FAR SUPERIOR to the other guns running the A5H2s in them. Your H3 is hands-down better than those other two. You do amazing work, man. P.S. We're not Recoil-System Dummies here, anymore. Far from it.
  5. That's not gonna get it off her - plus, she's HAWT like THAT!...
  6. That's not some home-made piece - it's a factory "AOW" gun, takes a Tax Stamp and the waiting period for a Tax Stamp, and manufactured just like that.

This Lee Factory Crimp die is still listed as "backordered", but they put a new availability date on it- today was the day, Aug 14th... Now, they're saying it's gonna be available Aug 31st... This info just changed today, on their website. Just go ahead and order one. It's right here in my hand, now. Here's the newest info on it, on their website: https://leeprecision.com/factory-crimp-die-6mm-arc.html Maybe I "backordered" the only experimental one that they had, in existence?... @DayWalker needs to order one, just to find out...

Lee Factory Crimp Die for 6ARC showed up early - supposed to be Monday, but came in today, 3 days early. They completely changed this die, from previous patterns, and maybe they're changing them all. Time will tell. The crimp portion is free-floating inside the die body now, and the lock collar is a sweet billet aluminum piece - still with the locking o-ring, too. Looks nice. I could theoretically load up my first 50 pieces of brass from last weekend, and shoot handloads this Sunday - but I don't think I'm gonna push it. I'll grab 850 drop-data this Sunday, with the 150 remaining factory-loaded rounds I have, get out before the heat gets serious, and shoot some initial AA2520 reloads next weekend. Lee made some great changes on this one - I hope they do it on all of them. I won't replace what I have, but the new stuff is nice...
  9. I agreed with you - everyone should have one of those, and many wish they do. At least the 10" of it. The diameter needs to go up to get deep into the "Crowd Pleaser" range - but I basically agree....
  10. It's not gonna take long for the True Political FukTards to realize that they completely MISSED... President Trump making record-numbers of lower court appointments. This is the shot across their bow, where they all go, WTF?!!?... Then, they do this... Gavin Newsom and Kamala are both - guaranteed - doing this right now...
  11. NICE, BROTHER!!!! HELL FUCKIN' YEAH, MAN!!! Those Anti-Constitution Gun-Law Writing Fuktards over there can SUCK IT!!!... More power to ya, brother - buy a million of them!...
  12. This is good news, man.
  13. Almost THIS much oil...
  14. Man! THAT is a understatement!
  15. Most .308ARs have the detent hole in the grip area, just so you know. Very, very few of them have the detent hole going in from the back, like AR15s. Very few. Spill the brand, so we know. I know you already stated DPMS - but a real DPMS has it going in from the grip area. You threw the AR-10 term around alot in your first post, too, and there's nothing about this thing that's Armalite, I'll bet. Terminology matters... It's more than a brand name - it's a pattern change...
  16. I had to do this on my Matrix set that I got. My Matrix lower had the detent hole and spring going in from the back, not the grip area. Cut off a section of right-sized drill bit - the shank - to the right length. Dremel cut-off wheel. Seems that small drill bits are easy to break, but they're a real bitch to cut in two...
  17. That was a good one, brother!!!
  18. Exactly - and this ruling will apply to every state in the Wild, Wild West, too - every state that's under the 9th Circuit. That includes Hawaii. Mazie Hirono is gonna shiit herself. It won't take long for someone to push this in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Circuits, for the Mag-Ban East Coast states...
  19. It's normal this morning - last night, it was WILD looking~! And, it wasn't Jamesons doing it, either, you bastards...
  20. "Standard Magazines" - you know, those evil ones that hold more than 10 rounds... 9th Circus, surprisingly, ruled that the Cali magazine ban is unconstitutional, and goes against the 2nd Amendment. Quite shocking to see that decision come from the 9th Circus. NOW mags everywhere will REALLY be out of stock!!! https://www.foxnews.com/politics/federal-appeals-court-californias-ban-2nd-amendment
  21. Hope that link helps...
  22. You, now, are Number 5, here. If I've identified 4 previous, here, then it should be pretty obvious on the search terms. The link in my last post was a clue. That got by you, somehow. At any rate, here is the search history of that platform, here on this board. Happy reading. https://forum.308ar.com/search/?q=Gibbz Sorry about your luck, too - wish you'd researched it before you bought it. At this point, we can only start another tech thread, try to figure out what's fucked up -and try to fix it for you. From the previous threads - I don't think we identified the real issue. It's not a good design, I think is what we came up with. researching those previous threads I linked - that's a starting point. Sucks to be so glum about it - but that platform never performed - and I haven't seen anyone else come back in here - with proof - to show that it worked. You might be that guy, though...
  23. Oh, dude, you're gonna be a HOOT! here - you can't hold your tongue!.... Which is actually a commendable trait, here - tell it like it is. You get There are no punches pulled here. It's either what they say it is, or we find out it's NOT what they said it was... That's just life, and it's not an easy world. Bulshiit won't last.

    98's 6mm ARC

That's a Legit Side-Casualty to this thread, and it's still legit - because I started it in my own build thread. I DID mention that this thread was about MY BUILD, right, and not everyone else's 6 ARC that they dreamt up... MY GUN... Anyway - Skull Valley - That's my getaway plan. 1/2 my house will be IN a hill, not for bunker-purposes, but for temp-control. If I'm IN the ground, it's cooler. The bunker-purposes are just a bonus. I LIKE the tunnel-plan, brother. All the way.
