Charging Handle

Is my DPMS LR-308 charging handle compatible with AR15 charging handle accessories.

I want an extended charging handle release lever and am not sure of compatibility.

The old Badger latches were good when they were the only option. With the numerous options available now, you do yourself a disservice not buying a quality replacement.

You can waste money on a Raptor, or buy into the novelty/gimmick of a Mega....

Or trust us and get the tried and proven TacOps-1... for almost half the price.

the tacops is nice....I just can't get past the size. the raptor unlocks just by pulling the right side, same as the left. the tacops requires you to hit the lever with your thumb if pulling from the right.. the raptor is more complicated and double the price though. just depends on what you want to spend. havnt seen anyone disappointed with either. I like the raptor on my 308. I also like the BCMs and PRI on my 5.56 guns. I never really had an issue with USGI handles. I put alot of sugar in my coffee. you will be good either way.

another + for tacops is that my phone keeps auto correcting it to tacos, and I love tacos. think I'm going to have to order one for my AR pistol now.

Just a disclaimer.... I never said the Raptor was a bad choice. Just quite a bit more expensive than the alternatives. Maybe "waste" was too harsh, as I am more than guilty for "wasting" money on whatever the fuckk I bought.... Don't get me started on my wife's new iPad Christmas present....

 If you want just the extended or larger release , the DPMS 308 is the same as on AR's .

Heh... I got a BCM Mod 3 for 308 at the shop... been staring me in the face every day and I'm wondering if it should go on my 308 or if it should go to a new home. :D

 

....already "stole" the BCM mod 3 for my 300 blk.... haha
