we use M&P .40s at work and I like it. mag safety is dumb. takedown is like an old ruger where you have to reach in and flip a little lever down to get the slide off. comes with a little tool stuck in the grip that is a pain to remove. also dumb. both of those dumbnesses are correctable.

I've got the MNP 40 and lovin' it a bunch.  Slicker-n dog snot.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's with the 10 days?

Damm that is F#%ked up!

In AZ it would have taken 10 minutes.

lol in Idaho it is as fast as the cash register works takes about 2 min one for the form and one to pay.. then out the door you go.... if you have a CCW if not then it takes 5 min cause they have to call ..

My M&P doesn't have a magazine disconnect.

In california there's a ten day wait period when you buy a gun :(

This law will likely disappear next month. The state Supreme Court ruled that law enforcement, CCW holders, and anyone that already is registered as owning a firearm, no longer has to wait the 10 days. California still requires civilians to have a valid firearms safety permit before buying. the California gun grabbers were given 90 days to appeal the decision. That 90 days sunsets this March.
