Traded an M1A for a DPMS AR308B.

Been shooting Rock River Arm's AR's in 223 for a few years and they are very accurate.

Wasn't happy with the accuracy of the M1A, so wanted something different, and I think this will fit the bill.

The five holes around the bullseye is with 7.62 ball ammo. The 7 shots above the 10 are hand loads at 100 yds.

Welcome from Louisiana.   I like my DPMS’s two.   I know I’ll get some feedback on this but there is only so much you can do an M1A, but the possibilities with the AR platform are just about endless.

The M1A is a classic battle rifle. However, you spend $1500.00 on a rifle, you shouldn't have to spend another $500.00 to get it to shoot under 2" MOA.

This DPMS is shooting close to 1" with some hand loads I just threw together. Looking forward to shooting this rifle a lot more.

I know what you are saying.   I have an M1A, it shoots purity dame good, but my Home built DPMS LR-308 16 inch Carbine shoots so much better with less recoil and not as heavy.   Sense I had my stroke three years ago I am not as steady as I used to be.   I paid 13 hundred for my M1A it’s a standard and I have roughly 950 bucks in my DPMS.
