All Guns Matter!

Thanks Quentin.  And a special thanks from my two-tone black and FDE .308!  Her feelings were starting to get hurt there for a minute....:laffs:

Ya'll are marginalizing and side lining those guns that don't identify with one group.  T/C Contenders and Encores should be free to be whatever type of gun they want!

If a gun wants a pistol grip and a rifle barrel, who are you to judge?!  Rifle stock with a muzzle loading pistol barrel?  If it is a consentual joining of grown gun parts, it's none of your business!

And don't start dissing on the "bi" caliber Savages, who are okay with being a rifle or a shotgun at the same time!

Not to mention the Judge series from Taurus or the S&W Governor.  Some of those could be considered "caliber fluid."

Science tells us that black guns migrated out of Africa about 60,000 years ago and moved into the Middle East, India, China, Europe and finally the rest of the world. As thousands of years passed coloring changed as guns adapted to their new environments. Brown guns, yellow guns, red guns, multicolor guns and even white guns. Camouflage is important in nature.

But how in the heck did we get pink guns! :D

Sorry... :D

Another thing:  guns shouldn't be restricted by the label on the gun case.  If a revolver feels like a shotgun it can use a shotgun case.  If a rifle feels like a pistol, who are we to say "Your parts don't belong in that case!"

Just because a firearm with a military heritage hasn't neutered off the bayonet lug yet, doesn't mean it can't use a sporter case.

I have discussed this with my revolvers, pistols, shotgun, bolt rifle, and ars, and they all advise that they feel that they are simply slingshots and do not believe that they should be regulated, or discriminated against, in any way.  They said this was based on what they had read about students being able to use any bathroom based on how they felt.

Sadly those within the shooting community are biased against the AR as a hunting rifle. My partner in our "hunting safety course" gives me that vibe. Last class I took my M5 and did't have a chance to explain the "principals of operation". The DNR office came to answer questions of rules and legalities of hunting. She also shows a video titled " It's only a 22" where in the end a kid that took out a 10-22 without his fathers approval, slipps and falls while carrying the loaded rifle. The round hit the other kid and lacerates the liver causing his death at 14 years old. I showed her my rifle and she likey. I will take it to my next class and make sure that I give an overview of the AR platform.

Great job bro!  We need good-faith ambassadors for semi-autos.

Don't forget to mention to them "It is a 60+ year old design, using mechanical features first developed in the late 1800s."  That always get's them thinking!

I got the same thing last year Rene. I was talking to the weightlifting coach at the highschool, who is an avid deer and elk hunter. I said something about using my 308 AR for an elk hunt and he gave me a funny look and said "Really?" Even avid hunters can be biased towards the AR platform!
