Sisco Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 Found this: https://www.cdnnsports.com/noreen-bn-36-long-range-assassin-300-win-mag.html?___SID=U and this. https://www.cdnnsports.com/noreen-bn-36-long-range-assassin-30-06-spr.html?___SID=U And as the Noreen has been mentioned in other threads, the Rule doesn't apply, so don't go there. Just posting this as a public service for any body with money burning a hole in your pocket.

Sisco Posted February 4, 2017 Author Report Posted February 4, 2017 (edited) I have some things rather large that would get in the way. But I would be able to scratch the back of my head. Edited February 4, 2017 by Sisco

unforgiven Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 Good find brother you could have both for the price of a Nemo in .300 WM. 30-06 lighter than a Garand wow.

unforgiven Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 Still kicking around what I want to treat myself to when I pull the pin. I am a fan of 30-06. .300 Win mags a little more legs to it also.
AnOldBiker Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 I have been a 30-06 fan since a kid and broke my teeth on a bolt action as my first full size rifle. I've seen these advertised and drool every time I seen it. But I'd prefer they install a dust cover over that bolt opening and find a way to drop the cost of the magazines ... but what the heck.
shepp Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 I'd love a 30-06 AR but that thing is kinda ugly. Side charge is cool but looks like it could be an issue I'd shit gets in there

Do you stop seeing her.....I didn't.
mrmackc Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 So it is a.3006 on a AR platform with side charging. Is there a chance it will out perform a .308AR or a .308LR costing less than than half as much. Probably not. Maybe the.300 WIN. Is worth taking a look. I'll maybe take a look at Abilene next week if they have it in the store. They have a good sale on.
planeflyer21 Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 I've seen a couple in person. In a word: functional. Noreen definately isn't going for points on styling or cool factor, other than having calibers in non-standard AR choices. Still haven't shot one.
unforgiven Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 7.62 x 51 vs. 7.62 x 63 bigger gas tank is better : http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2014/11/match-results-for-308-vs-30-06-surprising-findings/

Noreen is probably more of an out west gun that can frequently shoot at greater ranges at large game.
mrmackc Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 All other things being equal, price isn't one of them!
unforgiven Posted February 5, 2017 Report Posted February 5, 2017 Beauty brother. Creedmoor has them.
