Greg, sorry I was as offensive as I was, brother - I didn't mean it in an offensive way!  Matt is a baaaaad influence on me...

I love you, man!...

You know I'm not easily butt hurt. It is what it is, family comes first, and I'm working hard to meet some self set goals. And I will meet them.

Dont worry, pants down hugs and tequila come fall.

Yeah. I was thinking that ECR-1 just might have to move into the (NASA-like) VAB (vehicle assembly building) in prep for it's next flight. Not too sure about the timeline though. That, and Fuk.....I finally just got 2 out of the 7 rifles cleaned. I don't think there would be enough time for the turn-around. :laffs:

I have a test coming up for your rifle... Can attached, of course.  Are you bringing it this coming trip?  We need to shoot the hell out of it until it stops cycling.  Again.  :lmao:

To cut to the chase - I'm working with a lube manufacturer.  This new stuff blows everything else out of the water.

There will be a brief test of it on Thursday. No more "run your .308AR DRIPPING WET..."  None of that nonsense, anymore.

You, Matt, will of course have as much of it for free, that you can handle...

The old lady will be delighted to hear that!!!

I was planning to fly out, but I can ship the rifle and declare the can & bring it along.

If you want to ship it, and if your state laws state that it has to go to a real FFL, we can pimp out my local pusher for the duties.

Otherwise, if your state laws let it go to an individual...  You know I'm game. :laffs:

There's the true test.  Matt has a friction problem. Let him test it out and if the Mrs. winds up having to shave...you know that stuff works.

Shiit!  You clean rifles?...  :lmao:

Yeah. That's something that Rob and I are of kindred spirits. We both love building and shooting rifles. Fukin HATE cleaning them. But, I recently picked up a small bench-top parts washer. And that thing is THE $HIT!

If you run a can, you really should...

Ask me how I know. :laffs:

Yeah, I think Tom has the picture of the (BCG) evidence. :laffs:

I was pretty astonished myself, that was about 1.5-1.6k rounds worth of dry operation. I have thought a lot about it since then, I'm only going to run a chamber mop through it this time. I think the chamber is where the sticking factor was/is.

:laffs:Yeah. That thing had definitely been cooked. I can't say a whole lot though. I believe I've had one (or two) get pretty toasty before I lubed em up again.

So much for NiB being easier to clean...
