Tom or one of you other military guys can correct me if I'm wrong but I've always been told that you can't see a tracer from the front, only from behind. If that's the case then tracer rounds probably wouldn't have given away his position?

Depends on where you are in relation to the firing . Watch some films of night firing of Tracer ammo which is separated by several Ball Ammo mixed with it .

I know this Vet who lost both legs fighting the VC....he  told me this story a long time ago...so take it for what its worth...he was a newbie...he loaded up a couple of mags with a whole lot of tracers...then one night his unit got into a big firefight ...serious combat...so hes banging away and then he puts an all tracer mag in his rifle ...all of a sudden he is taking a lot more hits around him....his buddy sez wtf are you doing?  He tells me it was his stupid idea of a lot of tracers brought the enemy fire right to him...I dunno ,but hes a vet, and he was there.... hes home his legs are not...so ill take his word that tracers can be seen from a lot of different angles     :fullauto:   Wash

That was more of an "add-on" than a quote...and yes, I've been talking to myself a lot. The good conversations I don't mind so much, but it gets really ugly when the voices aren't getting along.

Good points out there on the tinfoil hat lines. Multiple guns in room...why?  So we can parade each configuration and show how various parts made these lethal weapons even more evil.   I get the feeling we're never going to know what happened. Now they say the guard was shot 6 minutes before the main shooting started. Yet he didn't radio or call for help?  Was he a decoy?  Was he there to buy someone else more time?

The story does keep changing . You would think that would have been easy to figure out or they knew it all along .

Unless I missed it. Why is there no video of him entering the hotel ? You know what's involved going to the range with a few pistols and even 4/6 rifles. It's a process for me, then there is range bag , ammo..Could it be they don't want you to see how he was helped into his room ?  The term I read is that " he's the perfect Gray man".  So who would look twice at a white man with money gambling large ???

When I was out there in 15' we stopped in Vegas before I came to AZ. Car was parked in a garage behind the Luxor. We brought everything in, which took 3-4 trips. I wasn't leaving my rifles in the car one trip was my pelican case and sara was freaking out, I never did check into rules but I figured fuck it they hold shot show here and I'm not getting my shit stolen. Told her anyone asks that's not important I'm a bass guitar player and it's my bass. No one did ever ask or seem to even notice, I guess my point is he had to have taken many of trips I know what we had and how long it took to do so. I did leave rifle ammo and mags in car just in case

but tin foil hat he didn't carry all those guns and ammo in alone, this thing stinks the biggest stink so much that a lot of people that I know whom wouldn't question somthing like this are

Any time we travel we have several bags suitcases and hanging clothes bags. I go down to the lobby and without asking get a baggage cart go to the car, load it up and push in up in the elevator. No one has ever seemed to notice. My wife has a handicap parking permit and we park in a handicap parking space. We only stay in hotels that are pet friendly. People with pets may be considered to be non-security risky.

I bet that changes in Vegas.

I'll bet a lot of places change , we should be like the Israelis , a hassle , but buildings are secure & that includes schools .

I see they slipped or they let it slip , that the POS was drilling into a wall when this Security Guard was shot at .  Escape route ?       The Sheriff had a suite & Tie on last update , not in Uniform , he also had a father figure right next to to make sure he was on message .

LEO's tell us if what is in these pictures fits the story given. I see an extra leg in one picture? The head shot leaves me with questions but I don't have any experience. Saw a kid use a .22 to try and commit suicide but he never hit the ground and got first aid right away. Headshot is a little graphic so I just posted a link but do have it saved if the link goes dead.

If he shot himself , it was in the Mouth , looks like he was moved , hard to tell with so little photo evidence .

That does look like an extra leg, but is most likely his Arm & hand , his hand could have something in it .

That's gonna make one hell of a Stanley-Steamer commercial....if you can get that out of the carpet, what can't you get?

They will replace the Carpet & Pads , hopefully .

The more I look at that photo , magnified , there are some strange things about it . I'm no crime scene specialist , just doesn't add up to a brain shot , that bullet should have blown the top of his head out , I would think . We don't see the whole scene , still say he was moved .

Here is a Video compilation that shows when the stink eye FBI guy first shows up at the press conferences , he never says a word , stands up close to the Sheriff dept. speaker , kinda creepy fro sure .

The Sheriff at the last Press conference , is showing some strain , understandably , but could it also be because mr creepy is in his shirt pocket .
