More reports coming from those around this wholeass, that he was pretty much an idiot when alcohol was added, and a real gem with his "girlfreind" when in public....

...but a real normal, nice guy from first reports and brother......and brothers statements are being looked at with more scrutiny.

You can pretty much say the Bump fire devices will take one for the team on this one & they will probably outlaw them , no grandfathering in .

First how would they enforce it, door to door searches? Second shouldn't cali be seen as proof that banning a piece of equipment doesn't work? Just look at the whole "permanent magazine issue" and how gadget after gadget has circumvented the law.

I notice most everyone is sold out of Surefire mags, so much for catching them on sale cheap like I'd been doing.

What no one seems to be talking about is the level of planning and practice that went into this event (what the hell word do you really use for this).  You don't just order a bunch of guns from Bud's and ammo from SSA and jump into this.  Aside from the issue of getting everything to the room and building the stands, if that was bump fire he had to practice for some time to be as proficient in holding for long bursts with any accuracy, particularly if one/some of the weapons were AR10/AR208s.  I would still like to know whether some of them were modified for full auto.  Did they find the tools/set up at any of his homes to indicate he was doing home gun-smithing?  The just appears to be some loose ends here that point to something other than a lone wolf.  A lone wolf shooter perhaps but there are too many questions without answers.

I am like a DD.  I am chunky around the barrel nut area.

Thanks for the heads up Stain , now I can recognize you if I see you in a crowd :laffs:

Infowars is sometimes hard to swallow , but with all of these dead shooters in the past shooting incidents , including this one , I'm don't totally believe they all off'ed themselves . This POS had it set up to fight to the finish with all the weapons & ammo stationed around the room . Just looking at the photos of inside rm. , it didn't seem to me he was going to take himself out .

Like everything else , its just theory at this point .

this definitely  wasn't a 'I'll just get up and pack all this equipment and something to smash out a window with. The guy had money. I doubt he had much practice, he was just shooting into a large knot of people. Premeditated ..for sure. Fukin coward could even stand up to what he did. Thought I read about him getting hurt at a Casino and losing the suite against them....that perceived slight that's been just festering inside him...add fire water...Just my 2 mags.

Sadly people have been killed for less.

There has to be some evidence of him practicing , some where , maybe on property that he would be not seen or heard ( not likely ) . He may have converted several rifles to full auto & he had to test them & practice with them or he just got lucky with them ( very unlikely , this was too well planed )

Another potential conspiracy aspect that I have not seen mentioned is that he was recently prescribed something for depression.  I believe it was Valium but I may be wrong on the specific drug.  He had only been on the med for a few months.  These drugs are beneficial in a great number of cases, but can cause extreme effects to certain susceptible people.

My buddy that was there sent me pictures last night of glass on his window ledge when he told me he was under him I didn't know he was right under him?!? Told me he thought it was Someone going room to room, as you can imagine he's taking it pretty hard

With the rumors of a possible second shooter, did your buddy hear shots coming from above only?  Or were there shots from other locations going outbound?

People seem to like to talk about how the NRA has the government in its pocket...the pharma world pretty much owns them.

It was the guns at fault...not the meds. The guns made him crazy.

Speaking of the girlfriend...I have a conspiracy theory brewing about that. I see two headlines on Drudge

"room service for two" and

"mystery woman"

I have read neither of the articles, but what are the chances they're spreading stories about another woman to get the girlfriend fired up and pissed off enough to talk?

I have not seen the articles but could that have been the person who was telling the crowd they were going to die.

Edit:

The article was from infowars.  It showed a picture of a receipt for room service for two.  It was posted on the Facebook page of someone who said they worked at Mandalay Bay.
