That's pretty cool. I'm waiting on the ATF paperwork to turn my DD M4 into a 9" 300BLK too. Like I said, that thing looks pretty fun.

I just finished a pistol upper in .300 BLK. I mostly shoot it with a suppressor attached, but I have shot it some without the suppressor. The muzzle flash is impressive to say the least, out of the 8 1/2" barrel.

So far, only 125gr Nosler with Lil' Gun powder, and reformed surplus LC cases. I have a bunch of 110gr M1 carbine bullets that I've shot through a 16" upper. That worked quite well, but since I only have one set of dies, I'm loading up all the 125gr projectiles before I set the seating die back for the 110gr round nose. Then we'll see if I can shoot inexpensive, plinker loads through the pistol, too.

Interesting 80% (?) naked lower above the buttstock in that pic. Is there a story there?

Damn if that Burris doesn't take up the whole top end. Hell. You'll need the UBR just to counterbalance that. <laughs>

Damn. Just scrolling through this thread and noticed that I never threw pics of mine up here. This was right after she was built last summer. Now she uses an Eotech 553 on top of her.

"Work in progress" (it's one of our early test cuts and is now an official paperweight).

ATF said I can't sell them until we have an FFL, so I had to run out and get one. :D

I know, right? That's with the inluded sunshade on the scope, makes it totally ridiculous looking. That Burris is the next evolution in my stupidity I call the "300 AAC". <lmao>

I'm not expecting much since the scope's ballistic tables do not include the 300 BLK round so I'm using the 7.62x39 round as a baseline. Setting everything up today at the shop so I can take it out to the range tomorrow with my 125gr supersonic reloads. Sights really well, and ranges correctly (tested up to 700 yards beind the shop), when compared side-by-side with my Nikon LRF.

Hoping to put together a range report when I get a chance. I'm busy enough as it is. :D

Wow....glad to see the .300 BLK has it's own little niche here on the 308AR forum. They are fantastic shooting rifles and pistols. Here are a few pics of one I just finished.
