ECKHERL Posted November 26, 2021 Report Posted November 26, 2021 Hello fellow gun enthusiasts! I am rather new to 308 caliber AR platforms and have recently picked up a Sig 716I and a Springfield Saint, I am interested in knowing if their is anything I should be concerned with in regards to functioning or reliability issues with both rifles along with corrective actions to resolve potential issues. Thank you,
unforgiven Posted November 26, 2021 Report Posted November 26, 2021 Welcome from Indiana brother lube them up and run them brother.
98Z5V Posted November 27, 2021 Report Posted November 27, 2021 As stated, lube heavy, shoot 'em up, and let's see what happens. Welcome aboard.
jtallen83 Posted November 28, 2021 Report Posted November 28, 2021 Welcome from Iowa! Don't fret if the first few boxes of ammo see some glitches. Sig tends to build stuff tight so a little break in might be needed before it hits the run like a sewing machine level. Clean it, extra lube at the start, shoot 400-500 rounds before you start to consider any mods., that's my 2 cent anyway.
