ConchoRio Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I simply typed "LR-308 Forums" in Google. I was beginning my first ever build, using a DPMS lower, and became aware there were differences between a LR-308 and an AR-10. So, I was looking for LR-308 specific information.Glad I found ya'll too! I found the answer's I needed, and the information available was instrumental in allowing me to complete my rifle.
TacBlade Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I searched Yahoo and it popped up when I was trying to get info on my build that I am now finishing. Today!!! Thanks imschur!!! This is a Great site!!!!!

Titan Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 I Googled "308 AR training," in hopes of finding a training course for a buddy specifically geared towards the .308 AR. I'm really surprised I hadn't come across this site long before now.
SARDUDE Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I Googled for info on 308 ARs and got the main website, then naturally came here.Exactly the means I used as well! :)
L8model Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I've recently become interested in AR-10's and googled something that included "AR10"... Been shopping and considering the idea of building a 308.
hobbesgunner Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Brother found this researching 308 semis...Bought his LR last year. Took me awhile, but I've decided to give the big guns a chance. Traded my PTR91 for an LR6.5.....Hope I can still join the club with a 260.
98Z5V Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 .....Hope I can still join the club with a 260.By all means, hobbes - the big bore is the big bore. <thumbsup>

308reloaded Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 did search on 308 build. now i drift between here and AR15.com, it is amazing the accuracy you can get from this type of platform (AR) hoping the 308 will be able to shoot better than I can.
Oeno Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 I was googling 308 AR and this site came up. I was deciding on buying or building one. Since this site has good info I decided to build one. I am just starting to gather parts.Cheers,
Horribilis Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 I found the site by conducting research on finding an AR platform rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. This site popped up in several of my searches either for component manufacturers (Tactical Machining), or general parts searches "complete AR 308 lower," "complete AR 243 upper," etc.
imschur Posted March 20, 2011 Author Report Posted March 20, 2011 Excellent, the details are very helpful, thank you
