I'll cook up some pintos with some salt pork, garlic cloves, and Jalapenos. I was a little worried that the switch from brass to cast iron was going to have some negative effect, but the brass burners were falling apart for so long that there wasn't any way the performance could get worse :D Now its clean and even heat across the whole surface, did a bunch of chicken thighs and it left nice clear grill marks on all of them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

washguy Posted June 15, 2015 Report Share Posted June 15, 2015 Smoked sea salt tater and beef tenderloin smoke tater for 1.5 hours at 325.... then coat tater with lots of butter and sea salt and wrap with foil for another 2 hours.......raise temp to 500 and throw on tenders after you take taters off of course.
