washguy Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 did a brisket point yesterday bout 7lbs...used Black Ops rub and smoked at 275 for 6 hours until internal was 200 degrees...let it rest for an hour...then munched down :) Wash bad lighting on the meat pics..lol

EasyEJL Posted May 8, 2015 Report Posted May 8, 2015 damn, my grill is like a totally different animal with the replaced burners. I was a little worried that the switch from brass to cast iron was going to have some negative effect, but the brass burners were falling apart for so long that there wasn't any way the performance could get worse :D Now its clean and even heat across the whole surface, did a bunch of chicken thighs and it left nice clear grill marks on all of them

washguy Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Smoked sea salt tater and beef tenderloin smoke tater for 1.5 hours at 325.... then coat tater with lots of butter and sea salt and wrap with foil for another 2 hours.......raise temp to 500 and throw on tenders after you take taters off of course. Steak rubbed with emerils Worcestershire and chupacabra rub 10 mins a side for medium rare......the burnt butter sea salt tater skin is better than the steak! :) Wash
