Always got a kick out of that poster. A friend who was a ranger in grizzly country used to always tell people who were packing a hand gun to be sure to take off the front sight.That way it wouldn’t snag on your A-Hole when the bear shoved it up your butt.

His other line used to be “I always carry a hand gun and walk with a friend in grizzly country. A bear attacks, I shoot the friend in the leg and run”. He is telling me this the first day of a three day back pack in the Abasorkas, prime grizzly country.
