I’ve always like this quote

“arguing with people on the the internet is like wining the special Olympics. No matter who wins, you’re both still retarded

I wish I possessed the ability to NOT call bullshiit when I see bullshiit.  It would make my life easier, certainly, but it wouldn't make me who I am.  I'll never back down from that, ever.  So, maybe, I'm an idiot...

just one sparrow today, but she’ll leave poofs of feathers all winter long, normally she’ll come over the peak of the house and grab a dove with an explosion of feathers in my yard.

They’ve been around for atleast ten years now and I’ve seen her fuck up some birds and a few rabbits, today was the longest I got to watch her so close, there was something very primal like watching a dinosaur hunt.

@Cunuckgaucho is to road runner as I am to tactical possum!

Possums exist... why do I know this? It's because I've seen the darn things. Unlike these pictures of road runners people keep posting. Some of you have some ad photoshop skills, just saying.

Female Coopers Hawk, or a sharp shinned hawk along with their big brother the Goshawk they are in the class of Raptors called Accipters and they are the real hunters in the forest and brush lands if it flies it dies and if it runs it is done... if it is catching sparrows most likely a sharp shinned ,if quail and larger birds up to pigeons is the game then a coopers BUT a Goshawk will catch ducks ,pheasants rabbits even Jack Rabbits

Me in my way younger days I flew Goshawks

Oh I know they do I fed my deck possum apples last night, they nest under my deck in the winter, but that’s a tactical possum aka Dillo and I’ve never ever seen one

Across the street from me is a drop off with a bunch of old oaks in it, she has a nest in there and they’ve been nesting for about 10 or so years over there, they’re stone cold killers and I love it! Lots of times she’ll come across the peak of my house and chase doves onto the spruce on my back property line it’s really cool to watch. I feed the birds all winter to watch/photograph and the cats to watch thru the winter 3-4 times of winter there will be a poof of feathers on the snow and i know she’s been there lol. This is the longest she’s been this close, i think she had some small birds trapped in the ornamental grass next to my deck that’s where you see here looking around I got to watch her for about 5 min and finally she dove into the grass, after that she caught the sparrow in the spruce

Those pictures are super cool Mike!

There was a group of hawks flying around the Ford plant, doing roof work we would see pigeons with the breast neatly removed. Raptors have a unique sound.

They coulda been peregrine falcons too, they’re amazing! First one I ever saw was working in Winona Mn on the Mississippi River. It took a med sized bird outta the sky like it was a fighter jet. They’ve introduced them to big cities because they nest in cliffs.

I’ve always been fascinated by crows and ravens, along with the mythology behind them. If there was one wild animal I could ethically keep as a pet it would be either

I've always had a crow follow me .. a few years ago I had a crow come sit on the fence while I was out in the patio. So I gave it a few chips and now we feed and water up to 20-40 crows 2 times a day.  The first one brought its mate, they followed me around the yard while I mow, eating bugs. Now the offspring and the whole neighborhood comes over.  This summer we had about 5 ravens in the yard but not at the fence.  They will fly by our windows and call at us if they see us inside.  Pretty smart animals.

This one is for my man Mike @blue109...   For you, brother.

I know he's a complete Dissipator Whore, and I love him for that.  Truly do, as I'm in the same boat...  :bitchslap:

12.5" barrel, 5.56, midlength gas - this is what it looks like.  Home-made locked down A2 front sight tower, of my flavor, and Brand new to market SBA5 brace, because it's a pistol, not a rifle or SBR.

There's a reason that it's got a Surefire 60 in there - Blue knows what that reason is...  :hail:

Short Dissy Heaven On Earth...
