Robocop1051
Rob I thought that was a WRX ? There are times I wish it were a WRX, but gas and insurance bills reminds me that I don't want a turbo charged rice rocket as a daily commuter. Microgunner
BTW, I think the new Fusion is one of the best looking cars on the road.
DNP
I quit for today. Took advantage of the fairly full moon last night and was shoveling grass till about 11. Put in some time today getting dirt down to grade. I'm friggin beat. Wish I could afford to rent a bobcat. To make it worse...the dirt trailer I'm going to borrow isn't available till next week...so I stockpiled everything in the backyard. Going to move it twice...blah. Zebra644
Why don't you just park the car in the bed of the truck? I am sure it will fit........... <lmao>

Armed Eye Doc
They do look nice. The important question is: how much ammo will it haul along with appropriate guns? Just in case that need arises.:D
EasyEJL
yeah, at least unlike the volt, leaf, prius, etc it doesn't actually look like you're driving a vagina.
Rsquared
Right in the Vag. <lmao> Good lookin ride though.

DNP
No no...it's SUPER cute! I'm averaging a little over 40 right now though she's only got 600 miles on her. Hope the numbers go up a little when she's full broken in. As it is she's probably saving me $5-6 a day. I'd like to say I will spend that on ammo and guns. But we can't have those here...guns are bad ya know. Got a guy at work who has driven a Prius since they came out. He said the same thing...at least this one doesn't look like a Prius... shepp
Think they're kinda sharp with the Astin Martin grill. Saw a dark red one today in the I nice looking car. My dad worked for gm for 30 years always owned a Chevy, and hated on ford. Ever since the bail out I've looked at all the auto makers. Ford seems to have their sh!t together, they passes on a bail out, they're doing all this Eco boost stuff (bout time America's figure out the turbo) I've thought about a ford truck. I heard they were coming out with a smaller block diesel which would rock, but that was 3-4 years ago. I was talking to a car friend of mine the other day he said Chevy is building small diesel powered cars but only in the eruo market idk why the big three drag their feet the eruos have killed it with small diesel motors. My buddies father inlaw is a vw salesman he can't keep diesel vw's on the lot hasn't for 4-5 years! planeflyer21
Like the diesels everyone builds for everywhere but the USA. Volkswagen Rabbits were getting 50mpg decades ago with small diesel engines. More smoke blown up our butts.

DNP
That is cute! So, on the small for diesels... I was shooting(photos) of a Vegas to Reno race a few years ago and stopped in this tiny little town waaaaay out on a back road for fuel. I was pumping fuel when a whole team of disguised fords rolled in and drove up to the diesel pumps next to me. Ranger, escapes...and some transmission bolted to a trailer. They're out there...and they're being tested/developed to meet the US demands.

When I heard this the ranger was still in production ( they don't make them anymore do they) and it was talk of a diesel for a ranger or like a 1/2 ton truck. I'd like a diesel truck but I've got no use for a 1 ton 6.whatever liter 65,0000$ truck

unforgiven
Price of diesel fuel is more than gas around here.Used to be dirt cheap till more people wanted it.Just sayin.
Robocop1051
I work with two guys who own the VW Golf with the turbo Diesel engine. They get 55-60 mpg on regular commuting. Jeep announced that their 2016 line of Wranglers might have an 8 speed, diesel option

EasyEJL
the volt would have made tons more sense with a diesel engine to run the generator vs a gas one.
