Sharkey Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Not to sound like a macho jack-wagon but I actually prefer some weight in my shotgun. To me, it just helps keep the bow down and helps get me back on target faster. The M4 can push 10 rounds down range in a couple of seconds and when shooting 1600fps slugs, the more it weighs up front, the more accurate I tend to place those rounds when firing fast. I'm also a pretty big guy (6'2ish and 235) so a little weight up there isn't all that big a deal to me as it might be to others (no disrespect here men). .

I was using a pro-mag I had gotten from a guy for the bubble a year or so ago and I think this set-up might even be lighter than that was and it is definitely thinner. The pro-mag was quite a topic of debate for a while with it's ambiguous 922r compliance anyway although I wasn't really worried about it. I'll have to post some pics in a few days if I get a chance to take some. I think it looks pretty sharp on there but the proof will be in the pudding so I suppose I'll have to heat up the Ole M4 pretty soon and see how she feels with the new grippage... >:D Edited March 31, 2014 by Sharkey
