planeflyer21 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I could handle this for a few years.
Rsquared Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 That, is one bad ass lookin ride. I'd also probably be able to "live" with that for a while.
Magwa Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Man that is my favorite all time car...... awesome ride....
Robocop1051 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 My buddy has a 67 and a 68. Both were bought for projects that never got started. They're just rollers right now.
Microgunner Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I'd prefer it with the hot rodded mechanicals but with the body stock.
blue109 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 My buddy rolled up in this the other day...
sketch Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Yep I'd do it!! I always try to barn shop for the fast back. Found one but it was a father son project.
Microgunner Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Damn Drew, who don't you just go buy that Stingray. Life's short and you deserve it. I'll help you break it in. :))
blue109 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Not sure if i'm sold on the new vette tail lights....but i'm sure they will grow on me.
imschur Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I went so far as to add up the value of all my firearms, guitars, photographic equipment and woodshop. :)
Microgunner Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 The new vette is definately world class.
unforgiven Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I went so far as to add up the value of all my firearms, guitars, photographic equipment and woodshop. :) And found you could have a Vett, and money left over for a Harley. >:D <thumbsup>
Tripledeuce Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Personally, I'v never had much luck with Chevy products. Ford and Dodge have always run longer, for me, at least. While I was growing up, my Dad worked as a car salesman. I always had something to drive, but never knew how long I'd have it. So, I learned never to get attached to any car. I never buy new, and my last two Ford F 150's were over 250,000 miles, and still running when I sold them. My current Dodge 1500 has over 200,000 miles, and is still going strong. Both had 50,000- 60,000 miles when I bought them. My last Chevy truck had less than 150,000 when the motor blew. Oil pump failed, and it spun every bearing in the motor. Respectfully Terry
imschur Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 And found you could have a Vett, and money left over for a Harley. >:D <thumbsup>True!!!I have only had good luck with Toyota's.
unforgiven Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 You sure are getting you'r moneys worth brother Terry. For a work car I spin them off around 175k so as not to have road trouble.I keep up on mainanence so I haven't had a problem aside from the occational flat tire.Hope I don't regrett sayin that.My daughter on the other hand has had problems with blown headgasket on different makes and models. <dontknow>
EasyEJL Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 I want a 2014 Corvette or nothing.they are pretty, its the first ones I've liked since 1972.Do they still allow those high output cars with large capacity engines in CT ?
Zebra644 Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 I own a F-150 FX4 and my wife has her Kona blue drop top mustang. I am not a big fan of Chevy / GMC aka Government Motors after they took bail out money and Ford did not, sorry.

Im a ford guy but a sucker for old a-body's but IIRC they did take money in the bailout but it was much smaller amount and was paid back quickly. I believe they had to take one for the GOV to avert future suits claiming favoritism Edited December 9, 2013 by bubbasks
jrtMA Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 I could handle this for a few years. That is most definitely a classic thing of beauty.

Respectfully Terry Good experience always counts for a lot Terry, thanks. On a side note...I've seen so many crashes in my profession that I've lost track and the Ford PUs always seem to take a front-end hit better than a Chevy...hands down. However, I do like the look of the Sierra and the brand new Silverado is pretty sharp too. In the end, I'd have to go with Ford when I buy a PU in another 2 years. Edited December 9, 2013 by jrtmasp
