I think I have the dvd and the blue ray sets. I loved that series. When it comes on the tv, I always get entranced watching it for hours.

I buy very few movies (even though it is actually a series) and the BoB was one that I ran out and got right away.  I'd call it amazing and Pacific didn't hold a candle to it.  That's not to say that Pacific wasn't a really good and important series as well.  BoB was just amazing.

Hollyworld , would change the color of the SUN to make a movie that some may watch. Right now , its all about Warrior hero's , to get people to invest in there trade.

It may have been about a true story , but Hollyworld will twist it around to make it "there" reality , that's for sure .

I don't invest in there world any more , no matter what its about .

word is Latrell was on set giving direction

Anyone else end up watch it?

Not yet, since the weather turned for the better I spent the whole weekend at the range. Yesterday I shot some test loads for my .30-30 and today my son and I took the .22 rifles out for some fun. Haven't shot them in so long wasn't sure if they would even work. (wish Obama would jump off a cliff)

Wife and i saw it and i must say it was very well done and very moving , the commitment made by our warriors is second to none, they deserve the very utmost in respect and they have mine...... I thank them all for their service.....

Watched Lone Survivor last night. I've listened to and read Marcus's story several times since it went public, the first half of the movie followed it very well. They got a little off track in the last half for some reason, the real story seemed just as exciting to me. Maybe Wahlberg didn't want to go pant-less <dontknow>

Regardless it was an inspiring movie. First time I've actually shed a tear over a movie, those real life pictures of the men involved that they showed at the end got me. They did us proud!

Watched is last night.  Fukkin good movie.

Marcus is in the movie, numerous times, all over the place.  Not the actor.  Marcus Luttrell.

Read "Bravo 2 Zero" by Andy McNab.  British SAS in the first Gulf War.  Compromised by herders.  Tell me what you think after that.

Think about this account.  Thoughtfully.  Tell me what you think.

Now, more to think about...

I've been in Afghanistan, up in the mountains.  5-man team plus an interpreter added to my team.  We were compromised by goat herders, and their damn goats...

We didn't shoot anybody over that.  There wasn't a need.  Then.

Circumstances dictate.

Haven't read the book but we have Bravo 2 Zero on dvd…seriously phucked situation.

Men of conscious are often second guessed by the armchair quarterbacks watching reruns.

They all made the choices that allowed them to live with their consciouses.

I finally watched it last night. What an incredible movie, one of the best I've seen in a while. The actors did a very good job with their roles. The ending as a whole was difficult to watch because it was so moving. Also, I have never been to a movie that had received so many applause at its conclusion.

I'll need a little more time to finish American Sniper, which I just started, but that is now tops on my list.  From what others have said, the movie is fairly close to the book with the exception of a few things at the end.

I thought American sniper was a great book before I read/ listened to lone survivor, it still is but lone survivor trumps it iom both great books but I thought lone survivor was epic.

The ending was tough, but needed to be done, just as they did! The theatre we went to see it at was the same way, applause at the end, not one hat on anyones head and utter silence thru the whole movie was astounding.
