The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it?

 Nope!  :))

Just wait till Dawn gets to experience a Nightforce or Trijicon optic... That new VCOG looks very promising!

Then, of course, is the 1911 void that will need filling. What girl doesn't want a Nighthawk custom?

Oh, and don't forget about a super sexy over-under shotgun. Browning and Benelli make some great "entry level" models.

Hahahaha

All this distraction about trigger thievery.  The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it?

I'll share! He can use it any time he wants! :auto:

Oh and Rob!  Did I tell you I have a new Kimber Ultra RCP II, 3" .45 carry gun?

Yeah I kinda "found" that one in his stash... <dontknow>

All parts received and built, now.  Had a temporary set of receivers on there so we could shoot it.  The Aero Precision Ghost Gun receivers came in.  Everything got blasted, in prep for the paint, last Sunday.  Waiting on the Cerakote to show up, but put it back together in the meantime.  I hate having a firearm around, disassembled and unusable...

I actually like the "naked" look. I assume you'll be going FDE in the end.

Nope.  Not even close.  It'll shock you.  <thumbsup>

I looked at it after blasting - dude, I'll talk about that in a minute - and I wanted to just Cerakote the thing with flat clear.  I really like it that way.  She thought about it for a few seconds, pondering it, but she still wants it painted.  So, painted it will be.

The blast cabinet.  MAAAAAAAAAAN, Aero Precision does NOT mess around with their Type III hardcoat annodizing.  When I got the H6 rail from FCW Guns, he knew I was painting the rifle, so he sent it to me raw, unfinished.  THAT was awesome!  <thumbsup>   I still had to blast the receiver extension, and the upper and lower.  The receiver extension took some time, but I'd bet I had the upper and lower in the blast cabinet for an hour each.  At first, I was just going to rough them up, but then decided to take everything off.  Holy sheit, that was a time-consuming decision...  ???

Makes me sad. We can't get those anymore in this state. (pisses me off really)

Guess I gotta go with NFA stuff only now ( A high quality problem.....in a fuked up state)

You know that plumbers lye strips anodizing in an instant, right?

Well, nice to know I'm not the only one around here that has had a Kimber appropriated by a family member! <lmao>
