98Z5V Posted February 28, 2014 Author Report Posted February 28, 2014 Yeah, brother - Super 3 Gun, Geissele S3G
Blondielocks Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 Lol... I might just have to have one of those triggers... I wonder where I can find one??? <lmao>
survivalshop Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 That's it. I'm changing the locks. It won't help you <laughs>
Magwa Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 No changing the locks will only prolong the pain you Sir are SOL.. give in and give it up!!!!! :)
planeflyer21 Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 All this distraction about trigger thievery. The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it?
98Z5V Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it? Nope! :))
Robocop1051 Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Just wait till Dawn gets to experience a Nightforce or Trijicon optic... That new VCOG looks very promising! Then, of course, is the 1911 void that will need filling. What girl doesn't want a Nighthawk custom? Oh, and don't forget about a super sexy over-under shotgun. Browning and Benelli make some great "entry level" models. Hahahaha
Blondielocks Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 All this distraction about trigger thievery. The real concern is, Dawn…do you have your rifle locked up where Tom can't get it? I'll share! He can use it any time he wants! :auto: Oh and Rob! Did I tell you I have a new Kimber Ultra RCP II, 3" .45 carry gun? Yeah I kinda "found" that one in his stash... <dontknow>
98Z5V Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 I guess it doesn't stop at the trigger... :'(
98Z5V Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 All parts received and built, now. Had a temporary set of receivers on there so we could shoot it. The Aero Precision Ghost Gun receivers came in. Everything got blasted, in prep for the paint, last Sunday. Waiting on the Cerakote to show up, but put it back together in the meantime. I hate having a firearm around, disassembled and unusable...
unforgiven Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 Very nice brother Tom.It's spooktacular..... <lmao> I crack myself up. :cookoo:
Robocop1051 Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 I actually like the "naked" look. I assume you'll be going FDE in the end.
98Z5V Posted March 20, 2014 Author Report Posted March 20, 2014 I actually like the "naked" look. I assume you'll be going FDE in the end. Nope. Not even close. It'll shock you. <thumbsup> I looked at it after blasting - dude, I'll talk about that in a minute - and I wanted to just Cerakote the thing with flat clear. I really like it that way. She thought about it for a few seconds, pondering it, but she still wants it painted. So, painted it will be. The blast cabinet. MAAAAAAAAAAN, Aero Precision does NOT mess around with their Type III hardcoat annodizing. When I got the H6 rail from FCW Guns, he knew I was painting the rifle, so he sent it to me raw, unfinished. THAT was awesome! <thumbsup> I still had to blast the receiver extension, and the upper and lower. The receiver extension took some time, but I'd bet I had the upper and lower in the blast cabinet for an hour each. At first, I was just going to rough them up, but then decided to take everything off. Holy sheit, that was a time-consuming decision... ???
Rsquared Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Why is the mag so small? Shrinkage? Was it in a cold pool? <lmao>
Robocop1051 Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 I wonder if we can talk Roger into naked receivers???
Rsquared Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Makes me sad. We can't get those anymore in this state. (pisses me off really) Guess I gotta go with NFA stuff only now ( A high quality problem.....in a fuked up state)
shibiwan Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Nope. Not even close. You know that plumbers lye strips anodizing in an instant, right?
98Z5V Posted March 21, 2014 Author Report Posted March 21, 2014 I wish I WOULD have known that... :fawkdance:
392heminut Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Oh and Rob! Did I tell you I have a new Kimber Ultra RCP II, 3" .45 carry gun? Yeah I kinda "found" that one in his stash... <dontknow> Well, nice to know I'm not the only one around here that has had a Kimber appropriated by a family member! <lmao>
Blondielocks Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Oh Boy... now Tom's mad! He likes my 300BLK better than his! <dontknow>
