edgecrusher
I bought a Cannon to go along with my smaller Liberty. Costco had it on sale for 1799 delivered, and they have others online as well. http://www.cannonsafe.com/series/armory/a54.html

Ar's seem like they take up more room than a bolt action. So my question is how many Ar rifles will it hold brother Easy ?
Sisco
So far the resolute fireproof and waterproof safes look like the best deal. If electronics fail, can be opened with a key.
sketch
Ar's seem like they take up more room than a bolt action. So my question is how many Ar rifles will it hold brother Easy ?The first one I can get to is the only one that matters!! The more the merry but all else are always under a lock and key safe or not. I need a bigger safe just for ARs! I bet Tom has a safe you can walk in and survive for three days on air alone with unlimited ammo! Only if trained in fridge tactics do not try this at home ! EasyEJL
seems like it would pretty easily hold 16 ARs, maybe a couple more

warthog984
I have a Heritage safe. It is made in the USA. That was my selling point.
guruofhotrod
Nice replacement policy on the Winchester Safes, "If your Winchester Safe is ever damaged in a fire or burglary attack, we will repair or replace the safe Free of Charge." http://winchestersafes.com/
edgecrusher
Same with Cannon, and they add flood
Sisco
One thing I like ablut Resolute, is they guarantee an hour at 1600 F. That is the best I have seen. Also it is completely waterproof. A 36 gun safe $999 at Mills Fleet Farm.

Sisco
My bedroom is the safe. <laughs> <lmao> Ok, gotta ask, how much heat can your bedroom take? ( I know I'm gonna regret this.)
shibiwan
Ok, gotta ask, how much heat can your bedroom take? ( I know I'm gonna regret this.) It's AZ.... so it's about a million degrees.
Sisco
It's AZ.... so it's about a million degrees. I thought for sure that opener would bring out a couple of good lines about generating heat in the bedroom.

Rsquared
And.......why start now?
NTXshooter
Another vote for Liberty. AR's and scoped rifles seem to take up the space of two guns. Best advice, figure out the size you think you need and buy at least one size larger.
