Well if its not the nut behind the trigger , it could be something else is going on . Not to say DPMS never put out a bad barrel , but they are usually good shooters . Could be the barrel nut a little loose , scope mount or rings loose , could be the Barrel/chamber doesn't like the ammo . -
Well unless it started out as a man , those are not fake , just enhanced , a lot ! <thumbsup> Man, you have to blow that up to see her pit Virginia <laughs>

I've loaded 130 gr. TNT's & some 125 gr. Noslers , but all with H110. I don't have any loading data for IMR 4227 in 300BLK or in 300 Whisper . I have read of people using it lately because of the non availability of most powders . Just Goggle using imr 4227 for 300 blackout & you get all kinds of Forum talk. There are things you can do to make Subs work on a Carbine gas Piston system , just have to play around with springs & buffers , Even lightening up the BC. I really have no interest in any Piston set up , no matter what they say about it being cooler on the BCG end . It would take some tweaking , but I don't see why it couldn't be accomplished .

You technically don't Qualify for the Rule , because you said you were going to buy one , your word is good enough for me . It doesn't get you out a Review ( with copious amours of photo's ) & range report though ! <thumbsup>

Didn't we just go through this ? <laughs> -
I have a lot of RCBS, Lee , old Lyman , but have been buying Redding lately. Your Rock Tumbler will be good for wet tumbling with Stainless Steel media .

I used to want to go all over the world & have , but now , probably because I'm old , I'll wait for them to come to my side of the pond !

I don't think base BATFE agents are the ones I worry about , its the Political ones that make asinine decisions . I have over the years ( not in the last ten ) have had very good relations with them & all helped with any questions I needed answered . I was a , how can I say , Victim , of one of there scams to entrap me as a Class three dealer , back in , oh , 1980's . I was sent a select fire rifle from a Texas Dealer/manufacturer & in the box with it was a Sten gun , full auto , with the paper work for another dealer ( Tom's Gun Shop ) no kidding Tom . My buddy was there & said hay , lets shoot that sucker ! I said no way , I called the Manufacturer/Dealer & they said , oh sorry , we were wondering what happened to that order. I said tell the ATF its being mailed back with a signature for receipt , that day & I want the shipping for it . The dealer said they were sorry & to let them know what the shipping cost was , but I never requested it . Well low & behold , the next month, a Dealer in Cleveland , Ohio ( I was in the same area ) was arrested for receiving an un-regestered Title II weapon, guess what it was , yes , a Sten Gun . The Plain Dealer , told how the ATF was performing a Sting through out the Country . You have to understand , there was no Internet back then. It was slow to hit any Publications , I think it was mentioned in the Shot Gun News , which back then , if you were a dealer , it was THE catalog to get monthly . I know , you have to be a real dumb a$$ to keep anything like that or even think you would get away with it , but WTF , like as , at the time , you didn't have enough problems with Title II weapon sales . I went to a Seminar in Cleveland , put on by the ATF ( its what we called it back then ) for all FFL dealers , well they had no answers to any Class III FFL's , none . I was one of three that were the only Class III dealers there & all three of us were in the front row. Now you would think they would know there would be Class III dealers there . So , you can see , nothing has changed . Its almost like , your on your own & if you screw up , its not our problem you didn't know . Yes all this happened a long time ago , but I see no change today . If your an BATFE agent , I wouldn't take it personal , its who you work for . Hell, maybe the power people above may want it, that you are in the dark as far as laws & there interpretation.

Just got an email from the owner , explaining all that went on . I will wait till his co. gets back on track to make purchases , I need at least three BCG 's .

I'm kinda wondering if some how I got something in those cases & caused corrosion in the case & duded the primer . That would explain this box of ammo & caliber , but what about the others which were loaded at different times. I just find this strange.

Famous last words for just about everyone prosecuted by the BATF & your right , I don't have any facts , just experience in what they can change at a moments notice . I just think you have to watch what you change or alter on any firearm , you can say by dealing with them for so long , I'm kinda , Gun shy ! <laughs>

Walk into the light , all are welcome , all are welcome ! <munch>

Ya , its been silent lately ,it needs some practice. <thumbsup> <lmao>

Nice pair ! I have been also looking at the MVP

How many pistols do you see with a folding support ? Didn't the BATFE make a big deal about the stock attachments on pistols , saying that made them a rifle with a short barrel , not too long ago ? Like on a Luger pistol. I have had enough interaction with the BATFE over the years , not to trust the powers to be ,to make an example of some equipment . There has been plenty of examples of them doing so, for no reason. Every component is Cool until they set there sights on that particular component .

Thats just not right . <lmao> What , you mean to tell me you don't like Bananas, Chocolate , Koilbosa & Cup Cakes ? <laughs>

I have had problems with some Remington small pistol primers not igniting & I had a box of loaded 9mm left over that I had not purged yet & tried to use them last Sunday , shooting Plates . Well they didn't disappoint , had several failures to fire . I decided to pull them down & replace the primers with CCI's . After I pulled the bullets & domed the Powder back into the Bullseye container , I looked at the primers while they were in the loading block, one of them was discolored & it looks like corrosion , so I sized & de-primed the case & this is what it looks like next to another I removed . Primer pocket doesn't look bad . With the cases up , looking into them , this is what I found . There had to be something that effected these cases . I keep all the primers in the same place & have no other problems except the Remington sm. pistol primers . I have Remington bench rest sm. rifle primers , right next to them & have no problems with them . My other thought was maybe they were not dried all the way because the cases were S/S wet tumbled , but I always wait a few days before I load them & some times longer , but I suppose its possible . The stuff in the cases is Bullseye powder that clinging to some kind of corrosion in the cases. All my ammo is kept in Military sealed ammo boxes & mixed with other same caliber of different bullet weights & I have no problem with those & of course , non have Remington primers in them any more, since I first started to have problems with these primers . I have had mis fires with these primers in 38 special & 380 acp also, but didn't do a inspection as I did with this batch . It could very well be I left some moisture in some cases , but all the different calibers I loaded have had problems with these primers & I pretty much check all my brass before loading & I would have seen some thing some time I would think . I've got about 500 of these left & do not trust them , to use them . I did get these primers in the height of the BO scare . Edit to add , I have never had primer problems before these in all the thirty plus years of reloading .

Shot one Sunday from standing @ about 75 yards & was surprised how many times I hit the small eight ring with the damn thing . The one I shot had a straight bolt handle.

I don't follow you , whats wrong with the color ? Are you talking about the gray ? Pic # 4 is a photo of a SA compact & did you also paint that ?

Heat is your friend & use Barrel vice blocks with some type of non-marring non-slip material . I use a piece of leather . Vice blocks should be as close to the Muzzle device as possible . And you do need a good vice.
