  1. I'm not sure when the original Bushmaster Dissipator was introduced but I purchased Bushmaster Dissipator 2nd hand in '97 or '98, and it was a "post ban". No flash hider. It did however have a carbine length gas system, hidden underneath a full length handguard. Very similar setup to those Shaw barrels pictured. That was my first AR-type rifle of any sort. I was so impressed that when a buddy needed cash for his "pre ban" Colt green label HBAR I jumped at the offer. That's the Colt representative that forever soured me on Colt as a viable modern brand.
  2. This is not how I remember it, with the black boxes and all:
  3. For the next generation! Apparently the kid isn't happy with dear leader:
  4. When Noveske died, the company made a video of topless chicks going about the office doing work, while his wife was assuring customers that nothing about the company would change.
  5. After reading the first part of that sentence, I thought for sure the underlined part was going to be "another happy customer!"
  6. Another AZ welcome!
  7. A pile of dirty diapers?
  8. Target also sells tubes. But why buy new tubes? Any local bike shop should have plenty of tossed tubes they will give you.
  9. Bastiges put my 1-900-Shooting-Tips out of business.
  10. You mean something like this? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1b2_1247995226
  11. "Is there a mark? Because it hurts right here...not so much here or here but right here."
  12. Welcome from Arizona!
  13. Sweet!
  14. White? Eewww...hope he didn't use prison Loctite.
  15. That's a possibility. Look closely at the grip bushing holes. Does it look like they were properly staked? They certainly shouldn't be coming out, unless the professional gun smiter used red loctite.
  16. I'm not using an Aimpoint but those are mighty light in weight. I do however use an Eotech, 1MOA dot surrounded by a 65MOA circle. No problem at all keeping all bullets on target out to 300 yards. If you are looking at 3-5MOA dot sights, you have it all wrong.
  17. Don't know about Fireclean but had a machining instructor who swore Crisco was the best for machining aluminum. "Stays in place and keeps it cool!" he said. He was convincing so I gave it a try. Never had so many damn chips stuck to everything, everywhere.
  18. It happened in Ohio with the Diebold machines in 2004 also, though at that time they were showing 100-150% for Bush. It steams me that so many people overlook anamolies when the "other side" is the one complaining. Individual votes haven't counted in a long, long time.
  19. That condition is also a trick BATF has been known to use in order to determine if someone possesses an "illegal full-auto".
  20. A compact electronic sight would be the way to go. A heavy scope on a light rifle is like putting chicken in a pecan pie.
  21. Tamarindo.
  22. Can't help but think this person is making the rounds on gun forums with this message. Probably setup in a small control room at NSA, saying to themselves "Let's see what fish we catch with this bait! Hand me my coffee."
  23. Additionally, with the new information they are giving media, it appears there is more than one shooter: http://www.wnd.com/2015/09/arizona-police-detain-1-in-highway-shootings/
