  1. This year I couldn’t afford to buy a holster for it. Long story.
  2. Sweet! Those Pythons were great shooters back in the day. When I got my original 357 Mag, it was between a model 28 S &W and a Python. My bank account back then could afford the Model 29 so that was what I got, but that Python was/is a work of art. Had some regrets.
  3. Being a Minnie Soda alumni, it was fun to see the Golden Rodents tear up the SEC big boys. Ski U Mah!
  4. Like my FNX 45 and can combo. Accurate and quiet.
  5. Merry Christmas to all of you. Hope your family is close. Our son came in unexpectedly, so we are happy.
  6. I have had good luck with these. https://www.amazon.com/Howard-Leight-Honeywell-Amplification-Electronic/dp/B001T7QJ9O/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_tab_ap_asin_title
  7. Have to check that out for my 9mm M & P.

    Grilling

With limited space right now, I picked up a small electric smoker. Actually works very well. Brined and dry rubbed a full pork shoulder, cooked it for 13 hours, 7 on the smoker, 6 in the oven at 210. Worked well.
  9. Ok, well an XD is a damn fine pistol, and Trooper has met me, he knows I am not that big. I am guessing Larry is way taller then me. I am big around. You want to see big, you should see my wife’s nephew visiting me. An “8 and 1/4” hat size, and 5 inches taller then me. He was 13 pounds at birth. That is called naturally big!
  10. It would be nice to see them get back on track. Good luck. To be honest, Mrraley and 98Z together would make a hell of a product development department, maybe put Armalite back at the top of the heap.
  11. Not to complicate the issue, but the S and W M & P 9 is a great value in a subcompact. Very happy with mine. My second choice was an XD.
  12. Two thoughts: 1. Our dogs got a virus last year that swept through most the dogs in the development. Pure blood diarrhea, and lots of it. But it passed in 36 hours. 2. Rat and rodent poison. If he is the type to swallow a dead mouse he found, there is usually enough warfarin in them to kill a small dog, or get them extremely sick. Just things to watch for.
  13. Have a Mora for my boat knife.
  14. Buy a fat separating cup. Pour the drippings in there and in about ten minutes the fat should float to the top so you can pour most of it off.Helps make the gravy less greasy. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1353716/oxo-good-grips-fat-separator.jsp?skuid=91342538&ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaign=FOOD PREP&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=bing&CID=shopping20&utm_campaignid=73065140&utm_adgroupid=2721884607&msclkid=3eabe7934c2117a980dcba723f46ec71&gclid=CMeykt-VkOYCFVzktQodRR0GOA&gclsrc=ds
  15. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes cranberries and gravy over everything! Go big or go home.
  16. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Except the turkey. Dude, this is NOT your day!🦃
  17. Done that with a snowmobile.

    The line up

If you go outside at dusk tonight you will see the moon, Jupiter, Venus, all lined up. Look a little higher and you will see Saturn as well.
  19. Either one will do the job nicely at those ranges. The Creedmore gives you more room to grow into long distance shooting, the .308 lets you shoot mil surp ammo if you want to plink. Best idea, buy or build both. Then you will fit in quickly around here.
  20. What are you going to use it for? And you could always rebarrel a 6.5 to an 18 inch or 16 inch barrel.
  21. Nice! What bullet weight were you using?
