  1. And we have those ugly lonely old librarian ladies with their boobs drooping into their socks, who have no life outside of their jobs...
  2. Welcome to the forum! We're overjoyed when our little corner of the web empowers someone to build a functional gun.
  3. This, and the fact that for the price of 1 Atlas that can be used on 1 type of interface, you can buy 5 Magpuls specific to each rifle/interface you wish to equip. It's a no-brainer for me.
  4. Only change 1 factor at a time, so you know which factor makes the difference. Also, I'd advise moving away from the IMI, the other stuff you listed is pretty good and should work fairly well. Cheap ammo isn't consistent enough to tell you what's working and what's not in terms of accuracy improvements. What's your barrel twist?
  5. Did you try removing the suppressor from the equation? What twist is your barrel? Bipods on a bench aren't great stability, for what it's worth to you. Sand bags from a bench are a bit better. Trying a lead sled or a tripod setup might yield better results as well. How much spread and deviation were you seeing?
  6. You're missing a whole slew of details there, friend... What ammo specifically, how much spread/deviation per specific ammo, what distance are you shooting, what position/support are you shooting from, factory trigger or aftermarket, etc etc. There are a multitude of possible contributing factors, and all we know is the brands of your scope & rifle, and that you used differing brands and/or types of ammo.
  7. #1. I hate rap, that needs to be said up front. #2. Watch it all the way through, it's key to appreciating the whole message. #3. With that said, I think y'all will appreciate this, I certainly did.
  8. I guess we don't have to wonder "will it blend?".... Dahmer smoothie anyone?
  9. I usually don't get in trouble until it comes out of my head...
  10. Homo Sapien Casserole...
  11. Y'all excuse me over here, I think I got some sand or something in my eye... Sorry for your loss Rob, Marshall seems to have been an amazing dog.
  12. We've done 450 with pistols at night, and gotten hits. This is the next logical evolution!
  13. I learned the hard way that when you give @JBMatt free pistol dope, he'll proceed to make you look like an amateur therewith. I don't do that anymore....
  14. 3.14 = pi to all you cave dwellers that were too cool for school. It's the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's radius. "Matt, what are you getting at?", I hear you asking.... This means 1 critical thing and 1 thing only; that Tom's shooting skills have come full circle!
  15. Go heavier on the oil, dripping wet is fantastic. Keep doing what you're doing and be patient, these bigger ARs require a bit of break-in.
  16. This. In order to confirm that a slam-fire is the actual issue, you need to eliminate a sear issue as the source of your problem. The other potential issue you may have is a firing pin that's binding in the forward position.
  17. Oh man, that does my machinist heart some serious good right there.... LOL
  18. There are two domains of authority concerning NFA items: the IRS, who is responsible for determining the lawfulness of ownership, and the issuance of tax stamps, and the BATFE who is responsible for the enforcement of the relevant NFA laws on behalf of the Federal Government and the IRS. The direct answer to your question, is no they do not. However, that will not stop them from detaining you on the grounds of probable cause and holding you until you can clear yourself with the relevant authorities.

  20. That looks fantastic! I kinda want to shoot it myself...
  21. There's a TSA guy in Charlotte that's been pretty regularly the guy on duty when I was passing through. He's taken to grinning at me as I come through and saying "So, what did we add to the inventory this trip?"....
  22. They actually don't. During the whole COVID charade, multiple cities and localities across the country with dwindling or struggling police forces made it very clearly known that they won't respond to all calls, merely ones of specific severity.
  23. Very sorry for the loss of your Dad, may he rest in peace.
  24. You most definitely can, it's just not advertised nor common knowledge. Put in a call to the owner Frank, and if the range isn't already reserved, you'll get range time for a fairly meager fee.
