I've kinda given up on powder prices - if it's on the shelf and I use it (or can use it), I just pay what it says. Sucks that way, but I'm hoping powder will come back around. We'll probably have plentiful powder supplies again right after there's so much 22LR on the shelves that you couldn't truck it away... <dontknow>

I get 4064 for about 28.

You have a good recipe, and to have the same lot of powder for that long will help. There can be small variations between lots, not always, but there can be. 8 lbs will give you consistent loads for a while.
