I was going to go with an Aero mount but they were hard to find at the time. I found the Warne mount very reasonable, good reviews and you can get them in different colors.

Nice build.  Im currently working on my 308. I purchased the strikes industries ultimate dust cover and it would not fit on, how did you get yours to fit?

I had to do a good amount of sanding around the base to get mine to move freely. Little bit at a time until you knock down the spots where it rubs.
