I'm a mechanic by trade and like to build stuff as opposed to buy first off. Built handfuls of AR15s but always wanted to build a 308 AR platform. My first attempt was successful but had to workout a few bugs and still will I'm sure. Mostly used Aero Precision parts. I skimped on the barrel to test it out and will be possibly going 14.5" pinned brake with a good barrel. I'm running a Bear Creek Arsenal 16" midlength gas system barrel. So far it's doing great!
