Also, as discussed last year...we need people to own each of these days or seperate events. Tom can't be responsible. And he can't handle being in charge of everything either.

In order to make sure we actually accomplish the various tasks we plan out, we need someone to pick an event and take charge of it. You will be responsible for planning your event, setting up the course and pushing us all into line. I've noticed there seems to be a little A.D.D. In this group and we have trouble with time management.

Good luck with that! After I hauled target stands and pepper poppers over for a pistol course at the last fall shoot no one seemed to have any interest in even setting the stuff up!

So, you're bringing 100 of them in the fall? :lmao:

Sorry we didn't get to yours when we had the chance Larry.   As has been said, there was far too much ADD and booze and too little planning to  do what we could have.   It was still a hell of a time though.

I'm considering joining in the fun this year. What are the logistics of getting a couple rifles and enough rifle ammo there? I don't want to drive from LA with everything I need, and buying ammo locally in AZ might be prohibitively expensive.

The drive is not that bad.  My wife and I took a couple of days to get there last fall.  You could also try the R^2 method of driving and only stop for gas and pee at the same time.

So drive out with your guns in the Fall, (I fly with them in a lockable hard case) and in the meantime you can be buying whatever ammo you need at discount online and have it shipped to AZ and it'll be waiting for you when you get there.

ADD is right! LOL! I even dragged those things out of the truck and set them next to the targets and target stands (damn poppers are heavy and bulky) and no one showed any interest. If I remember right, Doc offered to help load them back in the truck Sunday morning.

^^^ That cannot be overstated. There will be tolerable discomfort from laughing your butt off for the duration of the shoot. I go for the shooting and I stay for the comedy.

Just remember, the 9 o'clock show is completely different than the 7 o'clock show. Don't forget to tip your bartender.

Roman, you're talking about a guy that's got a $6K MRAD with a $4k NightForce on it, with a $700 bipod...

The only thing that missing is the capability to fire this this, accurately, to 1.600 yards.  At Night.

Ya know?...  I'm just sayin'...
