blue109 Posted April 16, 2024 Report Posted April 16, 2024 If you like Slayer, Kerry King, former guitar player of Slayer made a new band that sounds pretty much exactly like Slayer, which isn't really a bad thing if you like Slayer. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mOwFC56MQgA&pp=ygUKa2Vycnkga2luZw%3D%3D

I was more excited about this before king went on a bunch of rants trashing all of his former band mates. Seemed a little petty. The 2 songs they released so far are pretty cool. I hope they have some bangers in reserve.
blue109 Posted April 25, 2024 Report Posted April 25, 2024 Oh dear lort.....1992 called and wants it's hardcore back. This is glorious. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dKorOwxrWuQ&list=RDdKorOwxrWuQ&start_radio=1
98Z5V Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 Newest fave tune for testing sound system installs. Crank it up on a good system and LET IT RIP!
blue109 Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 Haven't heard a LXST CXNTURY song that I didn't fall in love with. Eastern European (Belarus?) producer mixes 2000's Memphis traphouse with his own instrumentals and makes something beautiful. This is my driving music.
blue109 Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 "new music sucks" Lawnchair Youth (LCY) is killing it with all these new young hardcore/metal/punk bands. Still tons of awesome stuff being made.

blue109 Posted July 30, 2024 Report Posted July 30, 2024 Damnit....😄 But seriously, that's the last one for a while. I mean it this time. That Gojira performance for the Olympic opener was 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥. Little ray of light amidst the freak-show.

blue109 Posted August 13, 2024 Report Posted August 13, 2024 Skeler just dropped night drive 4 if you're into this sort of thing. Not as many bangers as night drive 3, but I'm really liking it. Very smooth. These sets tend to grow on you the more you listen. Also, I accidentally did it again.....but seriously last one for a while.
Armed Eye Doc Posted August 14, 2024 Report Posted August 14, 2024 Here is Brent Smith singing Wilson Pickett's Mustang Sally. And the original version for comparison.

I can bring Susan's little amp to the fall shoot if you want. I can't play anything except the radio and have been told I don't do that well. She has a couple of guitars including one that I had made for her as a birthday present. This is her nephew playing her guitar.
