BakerI miss that Mountain, my parents house was on a hill facing north and Mt Baker dominated the skyline it was 90 miles away. I have a picture of it on a wall I am looking at now. The view we had of Mt Baker looked like an ice cream cone. I tried to climb it once ,got to about 9400 ft. Had to go down just ran out of time. Work and life took me away from the hills. I get out for 4 days a year to hit the back roads with a friend but we usally stick to day hikes in the lower foothills in eastern wa. Ill put it on my maybe map and see how it pans out?we have been looking for gold the last few years. Do you know of any mines or good creeks in that area?
