Not so much what I have on order. More like what I had on order...

Fderal Suppressor .22 rimfire. The order limit of 5  50 round boxes to test and for others to test. Then I found out that I already had a box with different packaging that I didn't recoginize. So I have another 5 boxes. I hope they changed the load along with the packaging.

A 9mm "no wipe" end cap for my Dead Air Ghost 45M can. The end cap that came with it is .45 and has the option of using a wipe at the end for really quiet operation. But one can only possess one wipe and they wear out rapidly. My solution is to have a sheet of rubber and a punch. When one wears out punch out another after destroying the worn out one. But others maybe couldn't figure that solution out. So Dead Air made a no wipe end cap. No wipe is easier and it's not convenient to bring the hydraulic press along to the range. It's a better solution. Then I realized that I didn't have a simple direct thread adapter for the Ghost. I am waiting on that to arrive. WOW! Subsonic .22 is whisper quiet out of the Ghost! The trade-off is the size of it as compared to the Banish 22. I need to try the shorter K configuratiojn of the Ghost.

I'd been using CLR to clean the Ghost and Banish 22. But it's been suggested to use BreakThrough cleaner. A qt of that arrived. The plan is to use it and after use hold onto it for further use.

Yesterday I got in 2 liters of heavy sand for a rear Protector bag.

I think that's it. Waiting on winds to die down and rain to stop so that I can shoot and test all sorts of stuff ordered and received. When I can't shoot I try to make things better and mostly that means spending $.

A Bore Buddy Repointing die for rimfire. But I didn't so much buy it for repointing bullets but for resizing the bullet. It makes mass produced bullets that are not known for concentricity and precise diameter into bullets that are known for both. I had mine reamed for .225. Will I use  the repointing feature? I'll probably play with it. The goal is a more precise bullet. It does NOT change anything below the bullet. It's an experiment. The die arrives by Brown truck today.

I've been taking advantage of the  AFT Guidance Letter. I went through the safe and cogitated on this and that. I own a T/C Contender and Encore and they have always been just a hairs breadth away from being SBRed. It was the nature of the firearm and that had to be settled in court. The ATF lost. Parts could be on hand but couldn't be mis-assembled due to NFA rules and the $200 tax, even though the potential always existed. Enter the ATF letter. After the work I had done to myself in the body shop, aka hospital, I can now get into the forest and actually do some hunting. What ever will I use next year? No room in the freezer this year. That gives me time to assemble things. I have planty of options but 120 years ago the .32/20 was lauded as being a phenomenal firearm for mid size game. That was using subsonic loads, the best the mettalurgy of the day could handle. But this is today. I just happen to have .32/20 chambered in a 10" Contender barrel. I'm getting it set up for small and mid size game as a SBR with suppressor. I have always loaded it for modern day metals meaning pushing a 125gr bullet to 2k fps. But my suppressor can't handle that, so my intent, having the muzzle so close to my head and not wanting to buy a can that can handle the pressure of a modern load, is use the can and keep the loads subsonic. Working on that after...

Sharps just shipped the Contender grip that allows for a buffer tube adapter so that I can have straight line recoil. I intend to get rid of the decades old Contender stock that I can no longer use due to a trick neck. I have a folding buffer tube adapter on order. Currently they're out of stock. Looks like I'm not alone in doing what I'm doing with Contender and Encore. I have all winter and lots of 2027 to get things squared away. The goal is small game and mid size game, suppressed. It should be fairly quiet. Where I hunt, basically in my backyard that abuts many K of acres of deep forest the range is short and if I don't sit then I still hunt. My typical shot is well within 50 yards, more commonly 25ish yards

So what's in the mail? The die and buttstock parts, oh, and a new Pic' rail base for the .32/20 barrel*. Right now it's wearing a Weaver base and that's very old tech'. Pix after it's assembled, I don't know when.

* I had intended to use a Comp M3 sight and I still can but everything required is incompatible with the Weaver base. At the same time Vortex replaced, under their lifetime guarantee, a red dot sight that couldn't be fixed. So they replaced it with a Defender ST. Much smaller and lighter than the M3. But not closed tube. I'm undecided on which will be used. I don't want to buy a new closed tube sight. I far prefer a closed tube sight for Maine weather.

I paid right at $1000.00 for my Begera HMR in win mag. Retail. Don't know the value of the scope you listed.

My gun shoots really well. I'm hitting the target at a mile repeatedly.

Vortex went above and beyond on their CS for the replacement sight mentioned above. I was asked what handgun it came off of and was going to be put on and I told the gent a Walther Q8 Match. I track shipments and I saw one from C&H Precision. I know I never placed an order with them. It came in and there was a paid invoice. Vortex paid over $100 for the baseplate. I never had CS as good as that anywhere. Unbelievable!

You are gonna LOVE IT, BROTHER!!!   You're right - it's well thought out, designed and executed.  One hell of a piece of gear.  And you're gonna need at least 240 MOA to get to 2 Miles.
