Does this mean I'll have a 'tubegun' or a 'spacegun'? I dunno. But I'll have the sight picture and sight radius/relief I want.

Amazing! It got here before USPS tracking said it had arrived. Maybe it has something to do with Brownell's and I both being in Iowa, ya think? Anyhow, the barrel on my DPMS LR-308 measures .719" and the .732" barrel band fit on nicely and clamped down tight with barely half a turn on each of the two set-screws. It looks very tacti-cool sitting on the muzzle, right behind the Kaw Valley linear compensator http://bit.ly/KnNp5z I already had a globe sight in stock, so that's sitting on the barrel band. Now all I need is to get my Dave Lauck CQB Iron Sight (rear) http://www.dlsports.com/cqb.html back from the machine shop where it's getting a new 0.060" notch made and installed, and I'll be ready for some shooting pleasure.
