Blades

Offhand, I'd say its sub-par steel.

   Respectfully

   Terry

PS,   After cleaning my hunting equ and putting it away, I found out 10 months later, that I had forgotten to clean one of my custom Bob Loveless hunting knives!  The blade was covered with blood and elk fat!

A little hot water and dish soap and 5 minutes later, it was back to a mirror finish!

Knife ws made out of ATS 34.  one of the first of that steel that Bob had made.

CRKT has never been my favorite.  I'll take Benchmade, Spyderco, or Kershaw/ZT first any day.

Here's a few of my smaller blades.  HTM Darrel Ralph Gunhammers, a custom Darrel Ralph Trigger Maze, and a fixed blade of my own make and design.

Thanks fellas.  Blades are made from a variety of things.  I use almost exclusively CPM 3V for my swords.  It's about the best sword steel that there is, in my opinion.  Most of the rest are made from a variety of high carbon steels, such as 5160, 52100, and 1095.  The kukri is made from Alabama Damascus' twist pattern damascus, and stabilized old-growth california redwood burl for scales.  This site doesn't let me post very many pics at once.  Here's a few more:

Benchmade Monochrome (my first nice folder, which I liked so much that when it was stolen, I bought a new one):

Benchmade 530.  Super light, which I liked, but took a terrible edge and dulled pretty quickly.  Others love theirs, so maybe I got a lemon:

I'm not, actually.  I just didn't want to completely monopolize the thread.

Ka-bar Phat Bob, which is a great little slicer, and awesome at the price point too.  Good worker.

I'm glad we're talking about the Kukri now.  Badass weapon, no matter what the use.  This was a gift from a past deployment.

Someone earlier, maybe in another thread, was asking how you'd smash something with a Kukri - you use this, and smash schit with your kukri...

Love this blade over anything else - this one would be my pick, for whatever reason...

Haha, they have some AWESOME knives!!! Why do I need a combat cleaver!!!???

I dont know but I do! I guess I blame it on isis, they give me a practical use for one LOL

I have already got a few people interested in buying from these guys. Maybe if I do a crappy good review, and post some reviews on YouTube, and I can prove that I have brought them a lot of interest, as we as advice to help them improve their product fortune American market, they would send me some free knives to review. :-)

Then maybe I could make a name for myself reviewing their knives....

Then maybe i could wholesale them, and get my business going... :-D
