The way the vltor rail raises the eotech the buis wont cowitness. Doesnt bother me since the irons are backup and I never saw the point in crowding the eotech field of view. Thought that was sort of the point of the nice big window. Also..always felt like the eotech was a little low on stock receivers so its a win/win. What model is your sight? Its suppose to work with 511,512,551, and 552

Only thing I can think of is the rings are stuck on the ledge created by the gas port. If thats the case brute force is probably the only way out. Maybe drill down the hole...you will ruin the rings but they arent too expensive

That DPMS rail weighs a ton...and so does the PRS. keep that in mind if you plan on humpin it anywhere. Add some heavy glass and spare mags and you will be getting close to 20lbs

Just pulled my DPMS bcg out. The bolt doesnt look to go in quite as far as yours..but it does go in far enough so the cam pin holes dont line up. Cant help you with carrier ID since mine doesnt have the fwd assist serations.

Sometimes I think dealers w lots of inventory make a bunch of listings and then have people make fake accounts to create the illusion of value. I just cant see anyone paying more than $300 for an SKS.

im not LE but i do carry a gun for work. my company has cut us down to 100 practice rounds per quarter (not counting qual) and i wont be surprised if they pull that soon. theres a few guys who are not firearms enthusiasts and obviously never buy there own ammo for practice. my buddy and i are thinking of failing qual a few times next range to get some target time in lol. pretty sure we can shoot 3 times without any negative action against us.
