One cool thing about working in Madison is watching the f16's come screaming outta truax field. Be cool if they got the f35, cuz I wanna see them lol. When the "shoe bomber" was flying outta ohare they scrambled outta truax, ran right down i90 I was mowing the lawn at work, heard them break the sound barrier.

just pisses me off how that ultra liberal cunt is on there saying she's so proud......

The goatlibtards here got the F-35 shut down for DMAFB because (wait for it) they're going to be too loud.

So the AF put them up at Luke AFB.

Too loud.  Idiots.  Build up a city around an air base that was MILES out of town, then complain about the noise.  Kid Rock's shirt is right. Dumbfuckistan.

This is the air guard base located at the Dane county regional airport. They fly commercial flights, FedEx/ups and what not in and out all day so they can't really complain. You can allways tell when the fighter jets are in and out bound tho. One of the stores I work at is in the landing pattern they'll come right over the top of you it's pretty cool. The f16's aren't super loud but they have these 2 seater f18 (look like someone told me their not) trainers that are loud as shit you can hear them taking off a couple miles away.

@ARTrooper have you ever been up to the hardwood bombing range by nahcoosa? When I was working in blackriver falls the boss took us there. guess it was a lot cooler in the 70's/80's he'd take a cooler of beer out and watch them blow shit up. When we when they were doing some live fire stuff it was pretty cool. Haven't seen a ch-47 around here in awhile my house guts buzzed by the Blackhawks outta Madison once and awhile the other night they flew over super low. Been seeing more c17's too that's a big MF!!

Wanna bet?  They can and will complain.

Less than 4 miles from DMAFB is Tucson International Airport, where the AFNG trains F-16 pilots from all over the world.  They tried pulling the "noise pollution" gig there too.  Got shut down.  It then became a candidate for AFNG training for F-35s.  By this time they were organized already for nixing the F-35 from DMAFB.

It was a short lived proposal.

The Tucson area is a Mecca for expatriated citizens of Libtardia, with the UofA cranking out Marxtards.  They actually refer to Pima and Santa Cruz Counties as "occupied Baja Arizona", and want to secede and join Mexico.  It is where the Center For Biological Diversity was founded/located.  ALF (Animal Liberation Front) freed contaminated animal "slaves" from disease research laboratories at the UofA.

NEVER underestimate them!  NEVER surrender!

My job site is across the bay from NAS Pensacola so besides the Blue Angels practice there is a steady stream of every type of aircraft the Navy flies screaming overhead. Those F-18's really sound off as they head out into the gulf! I spend a lot of time waiting for jets to clear the area so we can hear each other.

Well hell. I live in the landing pattern of Andrews AFB (now Joint base Andrews). I hear everything from Air Force 1, down to the puddle jumpers shuttling generals around. There's nothing like when they're doing touch and go maneuvers. You'll here things like C-5's screaming by about every 20/30 minutes (nothing like the sounds as they trim those engines prepping for landing), to F-18's doing "vertical" (like the old F-14's used to) climbs. Now, those fukers reverberate for miles, as they climb and accelerate away from you. Especially if you happen to be center axis compared to their exhaust thrust.

Now, of course, being Andrews.....you'll get this at all times. So it may 0300.......or it may be 1500. Doesn't matter. Ha....no wonder my ex old lady thought that I could sleep through a nuclear blast. :laffs:

Finally did EAA's museum in Oshkosh a couple of months ago. Enjoyed it, especially the 1/3 size F22 mockup.

I havnt been to the museum since middle school, used to go to the fly in every other year as a kid with my dad and grandpa or a guy he flew rc planes with. Then I went again 2012-14. Plan on doing the fly in again this summer

A friend of my daughter lives about 1.5 miles south of the main gate at Luke AFB, their house is about 600 yards from the end of the runway. I was there in the back yard as the F15 Eagle took off and it was loud as FLICK ! They put those house too close ! And they are big ass houses ! Some of the home owners will bitch but its their own fault.

When I worked graveyard security shift, my girlfriend and I wanted to move, so we went to look at this 2-bedroom house for rent.  The landlord/owner said he couldn't meet us until 5:30pm.  Okay, fine.  Great little house!  Pay the deposit, we can move in the following weekend.

Move in Saturday,  Work Sunday night, crash Sunday morning about 5:45am.  The sheet metal shop next door, named only Western Products, kicked into high gear about 6:30am.  Well played landlord, well played.

But that's a hugeass difference from something with 45 miles of 8' fence surrounding it and marked with signs, stating Luke AFB.
