Decided no new firearms especially in new calibers until this ammo situation gets straightened out. Okay with what I have thank goodness.

I love my 270WSM (Probably my favorite) , 25 WSSM, 25-06 etc. but I think if I could go back in time to the beginning of my firearm purchases (a do over),  I'd have stayed with just a few more standard cartridges. For rifles-. .308/7.62×51,  7.62x39, 5.56/.223, & 22lr. For pistol- 45acp  9mm, & .22.. THATS IT!!

Just a few easily obtained affordable  calibers that I could have stacked ammo for several tractor trailers deep, as opposed to having 20 different calibers.

Definitely not the case here locally in PA. If fortunate to find a popular caliber,  it's variety of weight & bullet types are very limited.

I haven't even looked here, it's all online i see it.

Yes, slowly starting to see some ammo available online. Like you said, if dickhed biden would STFU, things would start coming back & prices would slowly return to almost reasonable #'s

Add 300 Blk and 30-06, and you named my calibers.

The shelves were filling up yesterday at our local Rural King.  Pretty much everything available, 22, 380, 9mm, 270, 308, 30-06, 223 and 5.56.  Prices weren't hateful.  I grabbed 100 rounds of 5.56 for .49 cents a round........

Todays score.....

AH!!! The good old days.  2006 I would buy Blazer aluminum 9 mm 1000 rounds for $88 and change out the door.  I also could still hit what I was shooting at back then.     🥵🥵🥵

Todays score.  Pretty good selection today and reasonable prices.  2 boxes per customer limit so I grabbed another 200 rounds of .223 and 500 rounds of .22.......

So you're saying I should get one?

It just goes without saying that anybody that doesn't have one owes it to themselves to get one....
