LR308
I love the Suppressor you have. I was thinking about doing the same thing over the winter months but kind of shy because of all the hoops you have to jump through to get one. Do you really notice a difference in sound? Was on the range today. My friend was shooting in the same booth. (If you check the link I posted you´ll see that my suppressor sits on a brake). First I shot with the brake only - my friend was no happy person. Then I attached the can - he didn´t notice me shooting.....(with hearing protection) Edited August 19, 2013 by LR308
Matt.Cross
Are those rifle stocks A1 or A2 length? I like the look of them. And damn you Matt...I had talked myself out of a can after hearing a few that were not impressively quite, but that was cool. Hey brother, that isn't even the subs, that's just regular FGMM. blue109
So..are the subs Hollywood quiet? Only experience I have first hand with cans is on FA sub guns. A Sterling with a integrated suppressor is stupid Hollywood quiet. The MAC 10 I played with..not so much.
Robocop1051
The quietest I ever heard (or didn't hear, lol) was an MP5-SD shooting subsonic 9mm. The fun there was the FA fire. I shoot subs in my 14.5" 300Blk (205gr Hornady) and its no louder than my .45 ACP pistols.
Rsquared
A buddy of mine has a suppressed UZI. With sub-sonic rounds, all you can hear is the action of the sub-gun.....and the impacts of the rounds hitting the berm. They're fun.......what can I say? Now rifles. I haven't had a chance to even shoot my 300BLK yet. Ammo is not to be found.......for a reasonable price that is. But, as Matt said....the 308 sounds like a 22. LAR8Autoshucker
This is Maybelline, she came out of the case as a mid length A2 with no frills. Mid length free float quad rail, low pro gas block and flat top upper are RRA, pistol grip is from Larue and the grip pod is from, well, grip pod. The stock is the original I just took a dremel to it cuz I thought it would look cool. M308 nikon scope, tru glo red dot, standard A2 birdcage flash suppressor. I hydo dipped in Marpat but left the lower, barrel and buffer tube black because after looking at tons of pics online I decided I didn't like the way they looked completely covered and just doing the funiture isn't enough. I don't know why the pic comes in upside down, sorry. I'll post some before pics when I find the cord to my camera.

LAR8Autoshucker
The only paint is the base coat, it only took about 15 mins. I then hydro dipped it in marpat using a kit from camodipkit.com. that took a couple weeks to figure out, lots of trial and error, but once I figured it out it was a breeze. If you are not familiar with hydrographics you can search youtube for how to vidioes, I don't know how to add links yet, sorry.
