good old Bushnell TRS25 with a medium height (0.83") riser for absolute co-witness, and 1" for lower 1/3 co-witness. You can get the entire thing (riser + RDS) for less than $100.

It's a tubular sight so its easier to keep clean, unlike open reflex sights....

I went with the TRS-25 with riser for my PM400, the 1/3 co-witness. It went back for warranty work after failures in the cold weather, other than that it was a great red dot for the money. They are sending me a new one but I wont get it til June they say.

How are you liking that PM400?

I just flat love it. Reliable, accurate, shoots everything from 45 to 77 grain. Like most Sigs the trigger is a bit heavy and of course the "brace" is not the ideal butt-stock but... we can't own SBR's in Iowa so it was my best option, I hardly notice now. I wouldn't be afraid to recommend it to my mother!

I can't believe how many times I've recommended

PRIMARY ARMS

For this exact topic.

I just can't believe it.  People just don't listen.  <dontknow>

Where is Tom when you need him? Usually he's all over threads like this....  :ugone2far:

Don't know where Tom is.

Have you thought of trying Primary Arms for a red dot?

No. They're so affordable I've never given them a second thought.

Maybe I'll try one out one of these days.

I heard some folks really like them. wish someone with some experience would chime in.

maybe tom needs another warning point for leaving fellow forum members in the dark on these PA red dots. not very friendly if you ask me.

Here's the Burris AR-F3 mounted, the Tac-Con 3MR trigger installed and Raptor charging handle in place..

The Burris Fast Fire III came with a cover with clear lenses to prevent damage to the sight. Cool.
