Cunuckgaucho
Greetings, I'm here to learn and share some laughs with like minded people.I'm on the Canadian west coast in North Vancouver which as the name implies is a city north of Vancouver which does show a remarkable lack of imagination and good judgement on the city's founding fathers. I'm partial to the 308/7.62 platform but have yet to meet a gun I didn't like. What has brought me here is I have an Armalite AR-10 SUPERSASS Carbine and recently acquired( but still waiting on) a Colt LE901 lower. The good news is I can use it with my 5.56 lowers&future builds bad news is I need to locate a 308 upper. Good news is I have a FFL dealer that can export bad news is the exchange rate. DNP
Welcome. You best start building a wall on your side....it would bring a happy tear to my eye to see half of the people who claim they'll leave lined up at the north border-trying to get across. Better yet, skip the wall and please welcome those morons, I mean lovely people, with open arms.

I'm not to worried about the threat of a bunch of libtard drama queens moving here, didn't a bunch say the same thing back in Bush's day? That being said should you be talking to any of them let them know that they want to settle in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Cunuckgaucho
13 hours ago, shepp said: Canadian bacon or real bacon?? Turns out the only place I can get 'Canadian Bacon' is in the good ol' USA From Wiki- "Canadian bacon" is American usage for a form of roughly cylindrical fully cooked back bacon, usually smoked, trimmed into medallions, and thickly sliced.[4] The term "Canadian bacon" is not actually used in Canada, where the product is generally known simply as "back bacon", while "bacon" alone refers to the same streaky pork belly bacon as in the United States.[4] "Canadian" bacon is made only from the lean eye of the loin and is ready to eat; this preparation is closer to ham than standard bacon

unforgiven
Welcome from Indiana brother Eric. I thought Canada had strict firearm laws ???

Definitely strict as far as I'm concerned and seems mostly focused on creating issues for lawful owners and really not dealing with criminal use. That being said if I were to move to the USA I'd have to sell stuff I couldn't bring there and California would cost me half the collection. Wiki -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Canada Random highlights- Firearms here are a federal jurisdiction 3 classes a)non restricted-mostly rifles&shotgun,no registration, walk in show card pay money walk out with gun b)restricted-all handguns and firearms listed by name, registration required c) full auto, firearms listed by name and parts listed by name no longer issued except for highly restricted inheritance condition So an FN-FAL is prohibited by name,an AR is restricted by name(but no SBR rules) and a XCR is non restricted. Yea doesn't make sense to me either. Mare's Leg in Canada is considered a non-restricted rifle,a 12ga pump with a 8.5inch barrel is non restricted(as long as it's a factory barrel not a hacksaw job). Replica firearms are prohibited but the actual original firearm rendered properly inert. We can mail firearms/ammo directly to purchaser/friend(no FFL type requirements) That being said I have a FFL dealer that allows me to buy in the USA and export to Canada We did make some progress with the previous Conservative government but the new libtard government is setting up to screw us over and making points with the un is just icing on the cake for them. Up here we share many of the same issues when it comes to a biased media and uneducated antis who seem to think that Hollywood is fact

Sisco
Welcome from Wisconsin. Taken BC rail out of North Vancouver to Whistler/Blackcomb a couple of times for skiing. Great Town Vancouver, and I generally don't like cities. Always enjoy Granville Market. Envy you your crab and salmon. Is "A kettle of Fish" still open? Had a great meal there long ago. Sounds tougher on handguns and maybe a shade easier on long guns, from what I understand. You guys can get the Norinco M 14 clones, can't you? Those have a good reputation for the price.
