BS, there's something wrong with every plane.  They take off well, and fly well, but a landing is nothing more than a controlled crash.  I'd prefer for them to take off and fly me over where I need to go, then just let me the fuk out.  I'll handle the landing on my own.

Reminds me of a buddy of mine that works for the Smithsonian Air and Space. He restores aircraft, and proudly says (while laughing) that none of his planes will ever fly.

Reminds me of helicopters. The CH-47 to be exact.   That thing is a flying contradiction, just beating the air into submission, while it's trying to tear itself apart....

It's also my favorite aircraft to Jumpmaster, off the back ramp, hanging out the port side, spotting the DZ...  freaking the fuk out of the poor jumpers because the can only see me from the knees down, and right hand in the fuselage - everything else is hanging out of the aircraft.  :laffs:

Well, I can kind of sympathize with the Doc no matter what happened. If I'm in my seat with a valid ticket and I need to get where I'm going on time I would have told them to get fukked too! But then I've always been a stubborn hard headed bastard and liked a good fight!

My take on it is if you're going to bump people you need to do it before anyone boards the plane and it better be for a damn good reason.Everyone has a price and if you over book then you better be prepared to pay the price it takes to get people to voluntarily give up their seats. Mine is pretty damn high, and I have a funny feeling Dao's price is going to be extremely high!

Exactly - I paid YOU PEOPLE for a service, and I had to pay for it BEFORE it was completed.  You owe me that service that I paid you for, so fuckin' CARRY THROUGH with what I already paid you to do.

No other industry works that way, so we shouldn't take that shiit from an airline industry.  Oh, an industry that figured out a way to nickle-and-dime you to death in order to make more profit.  All this shiit we pay for now - is only to make some fuckers RICH.  In the past, your ticket got you damn near everything, including a fuckin' snack or a real (airline-real) meal.  Now, they want to take as much money as they can from you, and charge for everything that they can dream up.

Fukc you, I bought the ticket - now get me to where you SAID you would...  WITH my shiit...

Motherfuckers...

Hospitals work this way! I paid in advance for a surgery, they screwed it up, I was responsible to pay extra for that surgery and in whole for a couple more needed because of it. The issue was listed on the release as a "simple complication " so no law suit possible. I see this as a symptom of big government, the more government becomes involved in an industry the higher the chance something like this can occur.

But between then, and the time that he was looking at 3 cops? What happened in that time span. Also, no matter what, when you've got 3 cops telling you to get the hell off the plane, you should already know that you're losing this battle. You might win the war after the fact, through complaints to the airlines and possibly getting legal involved. BUT, at that moment, it's a done deal. That bird isn't taking off with you on it. So there's no reason to throw a fit and force the cops into doing something that we all know that they'd probably rather not be doing.

If he would have complied , he wouldn't be looking at a big payday , like he is now :lmao:

There's ALWAYS a possibility of a lawsuit, especially in medical. You just need to find the right attorney. We have a liability waiver (written by an attorney) with a sign in sheet that all the riders on our Fallen Officer Run have to sign. Most attorneys will tell you that the waiver is not worth the paper it's written on should someone have an accident and decide to sue us!
