Can anyone please tell me what the wrench size is on a 308 birdcage flash hider? Thanks in advance.

Medium pipe wrench :laffs:

I ended up using an adjustable wrench, couldn't seem to get a good snug fit from any of my SAE wrenches. Buffer tube wrench had a slot that fit well but the wrench was flimsy and awkward.

Did the same I got a thin crescent adjustable I use at work that I've used for all my muzzle devices

I almost posted this picture, but didn't want to come across like more of a smart a$$ than I intended.

They should really call that a multi-tool. It makes a good hammer when you need one too.

Thanks again guys, good stuff & love the humor.

Im helping a friend work on a gun in the future and he happens to have OCD. That said, I’d better have the right stuff and about 6 options. :)

Glad you brought it up, it answers a question I was going to have to answer soon myself. Now I will go grab my trusty ol' No7 Crescent.

This is the one I use, it’s narrower than your standard.
