suzukiray
I'm building a new Dragbike that will be the LAST one I build for myself. Basically a 90" wheelbase Top Fuel chassis, that will be powered by a 2 liter Ecotec engine with a turbo on methanol, with a B&J 2 speed trans & a torque converter instead of a clutch. This engine combo will make 1400 hp but I will back it down to 1000 so I can run it all year without needing to take it apart. Hoping to go 6 teens at 220 in the quarter. If it does, I will be able to turn it up & run close to Larry McBride numbers!! That's my goal anyway. So, yeah, that boat would be entertaining. My back hurts thinking about riding a Jet Ski , they are not bad on flat water , we used to ride them Lake Erie , a much different story . Sisco
Is that the original water pump on that jet ski? Wish mine had been that fast when I lived on a 200 acre Lake. Going on Lake Superior with that sucker, a big wave would launch you half way to the moon!

I had a berkeley pump on the blown gas drag boat...hell I spent more on the damn pump than you could believe... would either send it to Tom Morrow in Memphis or have him come here.....there was all kinds of mods impeller mods wear ring mods....the ol bend over blue print and balance mods and their was this stuffer plate that was put inside and then there was the hydraulic nozzle on the outside where the driver could use a foot peddle and adjust the nozzle opening while going down the track or at the start.....one race I decided that I was mr pump and took out the stuffer plate...and promptly exploded the outside bowl on the start line and almost sunk the boat.... sketch
only tried the stand up ski once and it ripped off my shorts and a toenail trying to get up. I got it figured out after a few tries but it was work. I would try a sit down model for sure!
