I may not be your guy then. Texas has little in the way of mountains. It is seldom cool. What mountains there are, are closer to San Diego than the Texas beaches. There are plenty of places for spontaneous vacations though. Sorry for the derail @Electrinkler ... not really, but I thought I should at least say it.

Electrinkler Posted November 27, 2020 Author Report Posted November 27, 2020 I did enjoy the two times I hunted hogs in North Texas. I DID NOT enjoy the last time I flew out of GBI and the planes engine blew up on take off and we had to do an emergency landing back at the gate 🙁
